I'm thinking I'll vote Republican in the primary just so I can vote for Ron Paul haha. I honestly think debates between him and Obama would be true debates rather than just for show like most debates have become in recent years. Now, there's alot I dont agree with Ron Paul on, but on foreign policy I absolutely agree with him. But to me he conducts himself like a realist and isnt' afraid to say something that isn't part of the party line. It would also seem to me he could actually attempt to keep all of his promises (Congress likely wouldnt let him but for example like this latest defense bill, he would veto it, while Obama promised to veto such a bill and now he goes right ahead and signs it).

Yeah I'll do the same for the Primary.. He's the only one from them that has any common sense. At least how I see it.

Thank God.

For the record, I was against this before Michael Moore.

Then this country is beyond fucked.

What difference does it make? The talk is different, the letter that is before their names are different, but it doesn't matter if Obama is in office, or Romney/Newt/Perry/Bachmann, they will all feed the corporatist corruption, they will all add to the federal government and give the controls over to their puppet masters, and it's all the same to us. You guys can think I'm crazy for liking Paul, but if you really think more of the same is going to help us, then I would think you're both crazy and gullible. Oh, and I'm not calling you crazy or gullible Uman.

I don't like any of those 4. Haha

I liked Alan Keyes, but he was never really a strong candidate. Now that the field is set, Paul is the only one worth voting for.

All Obama has to do is bring up bin Laden on occasion.

And people may fall for that as surface-issue voters. He might ride that until election day.

As much respect that I have for Ron Paul, I am not a fan of giving all of the resources to the privatized businesses. He is so anti-government that it scares me.

I don't know where people get this perception. We currently give the power and resources to privatized business, Ron Paul wants to end that corruption. Ron Paul is a constitutionalist, which is not anti-government. I know a lot of people that spin it into being anti-government, but it's not. A constitutional government has the opportunity to be more liberal, if that is endorsed by the people.

I understand that Ron Paul wants to end the unfair advantages/monopolies which giant corporations are able to lobby their way into receiving. And, while I like that mentality compared to the other candidates, I still have my reservations about voting for a candidate who seems to want to abolish nearly every government program. Their needs to be a healthy balance between capitalism and socialism. Ron Paul seems to be a pure capitalist in his mentality.
