Deebo also never got 900 yards in college. Neither did Patterson both of whom have a similar skills set.

College stats are largely meaningless.

Turned out the escape room needed 4 people instead of 2 for the slot we wanted so that's for another night. Pivoted to a Mexican place for margs and apps and then going to go see Everything everywhere all at once.

Age is a factor when a player moves up a level, whether you like it or not. If a guy isn't showing much at a young age in college, he generally doesn't suddenly find it in the NFL. Not that it's impossible, but it's improbable.

Getsy doesn't have a specific offense right now. So he can create any type of offense he wants that will suit the talents of Jones, Fields and the offense. Maybe Getsy should look at what Huepel did to "inflate stats". It time for our offense to do something that puts more points on the board. Right ?

The "no huddle" offense is not "somewhat a gimmick".
Several teams have used "no huddle" offense in the past i.e. the Buffalo Bill teams that went to 4 SB's, Peyton Manning used the "no huddle" offense on a regular basis. So it's not some strange offensive concept. Bottom line, Of course ya wanna wear out and or take advantage the defense. That's the ultimate point. And put more points on the board.

Aren’t college football players typically older anyways compared to their counterparts in sports like baseball and basketball? With the redshirting and not being eligible for the draft until after 3 years of college aren’t there a lot more 23-24 year old guys playing college football? I’d bet there a lot of 23 year olds being drafted. But this kind being 24 (doesn’t he turn 25 next month?) is this huge thing? With the length of NFL careers (isnt it like 3.5 years on average?) and the hit rate for third rounders the chances of his age ever mattering is so minuscule.

And football is one of those sports where there’s so many players that sometimes talent kind of goes unnoticed. Guys get buried on depth charts. Then they transfer or injuries happen or whatver and the guy who was 4th stinger two months ago looks like an all american. You see it all the time.

I hate to come across like I’m stanning for this guy. I have no clue how he’ll turn out. I’m just over reading the same tired cliches people are throwing around because they want to create a negative narrative surrounding him. “Oh no, this isn’t one of the players I read about and wanted the bears to draft.I didn’t watch his highlight reel and don’t know much about him. What’s the negatives on his draft report? Let’s just repeat that 50 times while I cry because I had my heart set on George Pickens.“

to nonone’s surprise, he provided zero posts of mine to back up his claims. Not sure why he’s obsessed w me to begin with just because I don’t like the pick

then he goes on some rant about kamara being bad at UT, when in reality he had 2,000 scrimmage yards and 23 TD’s in his UT career(2 seasons). Not sure why he’s trying to pretend kamara wasn’t a stud prospect coming out. Must be some weird narrative he’s trying to push

Obviously a 25 year old rookie isn't ideal but I really like Jones.
