Anybody play the new Twisted Metal? AOTS gave it a so-so review and said the real plus is the multi-player... it looks pretty badass, but I might wait a while and see if the price goes down or see if I can get a rental through a Redbox or something.

Sweet!!! We used to play the hell out of that game on the original PS. Is it out for Xbox?

After Twisted Metal 2, the series went down hill. 2 was the pinnacle of the franchise and no it isnt out for Xbox, its a Sony title I believe, like Gran Turismo.

Don't feel bad I have a PS3 and I have like 3 games for it, God of War collection (when did I start sucking at that game), Heavenly Blade (wannabe GoW and not nearly as interesting), and Heavy Rain (one of the best games I've ever played). I typically find PS games very meh. The popular games for the PS systems I'm never interested in and always seem to pick very shitty games so basically mine is a blu-ray player until the Heavy Rain prequel comes out, if it ever does

The reasons I got a PS3despite rarely playing it, is blu ray and the fact most xbox exclusives come out for PC. Ive owned my ps3 since 2009, not counting NHL games Ive played 5 other games on it in that timeframe. Thats it. Really if NHL still came out for PC, I probably wouldnt own a console.

I really don't feel like going back and rereading this thread to find out the overall thoughts on the new batman, I just borrowed it, have barely started it, and I am really not seeing much to anything new in it.

I know it is not new or flashy by any means, but I can't believe the lack of love for Team Fortress 2.

That game is so much fucking FUN!

I have been having a blast.

Good teamwork sometimes if you happen to get good players that communicate. I love the cartoonish graphics and all of the side items and taunts and such.

I bound the "taunt" command to the spacebar, the biggest damn key on the keyboard.

I can high five my teammates, or laugh at people. Laughing is awesome after sniping them. I do die a lot while I am trying to high five someone, or laughing at some poor **** I just killed, or even just taunting to shake my flamethrower in the air and see my awesome hat when taunt send to 3rd person view.

Hats are AWESOME! Hat Fortress 2!!!

I not only have my kick ass hot pink chef hat, but it also has planets that orbit around it!

And if you look close, you can see my Hawks Indianhead pinned to my chest.

(I am standing, waiting for high five)

That is me doing the same thing with different hat. The fire orbits around my hat.

That's just my pyro class, which is my favorite. My hats for my other classes aren't as awesome though.

I played it for a bit a few years ago. I liked Team fortress 1 alot back in the late 90's, 2 just wasnt doing it for me.

Why are we not talking about ME3? Oh yeah we are too busy playing it. Stupid work is interfering with me saving the Galaxy. Well I played for like 5 hours yesterday. New melee combat helps when baddies get too close. I can't figure out weapon modding this go around to save my life. As for a review....its a Mass Effect game it is simply the best story in video games, possibly sci-fi I give it a 15 out of 10, its the conclusion of the Mass Effect story of course it will be awesome.

For any of you who have had doubts about playing the ME series. Go get the first one, play it, it can't be more than 10-20 bucks now. You'll fall in love and get the other two. Just trust me on it.

I can't figure out how to make money in those games. Last one I was good at was SimCity 2000. Societies was just dumb. But SimCity 3000 and SimCity 4. Yeah never could figure out how to make the city really work

Honestly, SimCity 2000 was the last one I really got into as well. From all accounts 3000 and 4 just weren't very good. This new one has some pretty cool concepts involved. Lets hope they make it fluid and don't eff it up.

What I never got good at in simcity 4 was that I had to build up the neighboring cities and I hated doing that. Also never figured out how to effectively use highways and rail.

In Sim City I cheat for money, because ultimately adding stuff like highways and rail later You have to destroy parts of your city to add it in. So I would money cheat and the first thing I would add is advanced transportation. Its much easier to add it and plan with it on a blank map.

I still don't know how to plan it. I loved sim city 2000 since you didnt need Highways to do well. My cities were all pretty much perfect 4x4 grid.

It has alot to do with where you place your residential and commerical tiles. I also always liked to make one side the rich side of town and the otherside the ghetto. So one side I would put all my industrial shit and put residences next to it and NO police stations and barely any schools. On the otherside every road was an avenue, an over abundance of police stations and schools and hospitals and no industrial parks, so very little pollution.

I did it by rows, I did a row of industrial, then commercial, then residential, then I reversed it so residential, commerical, industrial. All my public buildings were in the commerical rows since commercial always had the lowest demand.`

rofl. theres a poll on biowares site. Of 30k people voting only 2% liked the ending. I'll find out exactly what it is in good time, But im hoping Ive prepared myself for it to be so bad by the hoopla that I wont find it as bad as the hype. Seriously at this point The only thing in my mind that could really warrant such a reaction is the reapers ultimately winning and the cycle continuing, and don't comment on that Supra.

My sole reason for that is it really does put a hamper on creating other games based on the Universe, and its friggin shame to literally close the book in what is in my opinion one of the best sci-fi universes ever created. And it would literally be closing the book, because the whole thing that makes space dramas interesting is that there are humans, and if the reapers win there are likely not going to be humans when the next space faring cycle comes along.

So in my opinion seriously that is the only way I will be that angry about the ending, I would be fine with it, if like had to practically destroy galactic civilization to stop the reapers, by like imploding the mass relays and marooning everyone in whatever system they are in at the time, but the reapers winning? That is about the only thing I couldnt stomache, and its literally just because that does kinda put a hamper on the "future titles" based on different characters. If they just bunked their ability to travel between systems, its not difficult to surmise within a reasonable timeframe, the civilizations of the galaxy might figure out how to make their own mass relays.

That and they cant really make a game about reapers anymore. So setting another title essentially doing the same thing, doesnt really work because a huge part of Mass Effect was literally figuring out what the hell you were up against and how to take them down. Once you know all that it kind of takes the wind out of the sails of a future title based on the same premise.
