I know, that's why I'm holding off a bit. People who got it when it came out, is it still fun and addictive? Or has it ran it's course? Does it have replay abiliity?
Skyrim: I have been playing the shit out of it when I have the free time....which is the nights Littleman is staying with his mommy. I havent gotten through all of it yet, as I have been bouncing between main quest and the side quests that I have found so far. Yeah, I can see this having major replay value to it.
I am just waiting for tax refund to hit, pay some bills... and then buy 1 present for myself.....Rage.
I have no idea how our guys get in the building but I guess that it's big enough that maybe they have keys or the building managers let them in every day so I figure if they can get in they can leave the package. Let me know how Dead Island is, I've been curious since I saw a vinette type thing about it. I think Skyrim is next on my list but if Dead island is still dramatically cheaper I'll run with it if it is good.
Solid, I've heard a good deal about the background of the story and I think you are correct that it's really about the entire zombie story from the how the way and the figuring out the how the why and most importantly how to get off the island, than it is about just killing zombies. From what I've gathered It's a bit of a detective game mixed with a FPS.I've had enough time to get it loaded and "start" by choosing a character and wander through people's luggage. Looks like they're really focusing on a story for Dead Island - so far graphics are nice. I'll let you know more as I get deeper into it.

Ive taken a break for a bit while playing bf3, but seriously I put 150 hours into it and havent done everything yet.
See I must be the only one that is not like that, I did my Companions questline, got my dragonbone armor, and now just work on the main quest. Once I finish that (I think I'm close) I'll be done with the game basically. Sure I might go and **** around with different "classes" but for the most part I will have seen the game, beat the game, and that's that
You have to try the Thieves Guild quests. There are many and there are some good ones.
I actually wanna do the Assassin's Guild quest line with a stealth character. The one I have now can't even spell stealth. Whenever he tries he just smashes someone in the face with a war axe.
Anyone else curious about the PS Vita? If I hadn't bought a PSPGo less than a year ago, I'd probably consider getting one. Stupid Sony.
In retrospect, the "Go" was pretty worthless when put against the DS and even older models of the PSP.
I just don't understand what I'd need the vita for. I'm never out anywhere isolated long enough to need it, and if i'm home I go PS3... otherwise I have enough on my phone to keep me occupies. It's great in theory and I don't know too much about it's features. I think there is something about being fully cross platform with the ps3? In which case that would be awesome I'd think abou that but I'm not going to buy one like the other portables and buys games that can only be played on that system.
I have the original PSP, I regret getting it. I will never own a portable gaming system again, there are enough games on my phone to keep my entertained.
I think portable gaming is starting to come to an end, given there's zero hype around Vita and some are already calling it a flop even though it isn't on sale, tells me plenty.
I guess I'm just old school in that I don't really use my phone for games... I use it to communicate with people, I don't why that always seems so weird to say.
The handhelds for me have always been great as time killers when I'm out of town travelling (or stuck in a shitty hotel with no cable and I'm just tired of reading) or for sitting on the john. And Mass, the Vita is supposed to have functionality where you can start playing a game on the PS3 and then continue it on the device - I'm not sure how that works, but it sounds pretty cool.
Not saying I'd buy one, but if eating some Taco Bell (which I'll be doing anyway) can potentially score me a free one, I would try.
I wouldn't say what I do on my phone is gaming so much as wasting time.
