I wasn't able to make it out there but I'm watching the NBC feed. What class by Huet! Niemi had his back turned drinking some Champagne and the camera was on him... Huet tapped Niemi and turned him around and you could see him mouth something like "it's all him!" and tapped the Indianhead on his jersey and told him to drink!



Also it was hilarious seeing fans throw beers to Toews and Kane and them drinking it out of the Cup!

Niemi looked so nervous, lol! That Versteeg "rap" I could have gone without. Kaner looked a little sauced up, lol!

watched the whole thing on the csnchicago webstream. looked epic. estimated 2 million, what a turnout! i am sure the hawks were really taken by that.

and lol, so many tired faces and kane was a little more than sauced, thought he would puke waiting for his turn. his comment "i promise to keep my shirt on this summer and to all the cabbies, i love ya!" was great.



the future hawks were also presented, beach, lalonde, skille, connelly and even a sighting of toivonen there. hope they have steered away from the cup and not cursed themselves,lol.

that are wearing my jersey / They give me lots of hugs and kisses



and they ask me what my wish is / I say go and get your friends 'cuz



there's gonna be a party / And in the end the Stanley Cup is the dream

I admit I shed a few tears after the game on Weds.



But today it really hit me. The Hawks parading with the Cup and all those fans.



And some of my heroes like Tony O and Bobby and Savvy being there.



I was cryin like a baby.



Yes, I am a wuss.........but a very happy one.

I love these guys everybody. Even Kopecky, Huet, hell even Eddie-O. That parade today was totally awesome. One of the coolest things I've ever watched.

Is there going to be a replay of it? I'd like to watch it considering I was actually there, it would be nice to see how ridiculous it really was... the 4-5 blocks we walked were absolutely PACKED

I was wiping a tear away every few minutes too during the rally. I've gotten more emotional each day now since Wed night.

I was about 50 yards from the stage.... a total mosh pit. Like being at Time Square for New Years eve. Got there about 8.. and the parade got there around 11:30 so it was a bit of a standing sweat fest with nowhere to go. But to be there, and see them raise the cup in front of all those people was pretty cool. Great capper to a great week of memories. Just think a week ago was that game 4 loss..... and here we are, just a week later.



Was the parade on the NHL network?
