Or when the Hawks score, he will hear Chelsea's Dagger and let in 5 goals :smh:

if you can move crawford i will gladly pick up luongo from the airport.

Some of the people here that make dumb comments about luongo are the same people that bitched about crawford being bad in the playoffs. Heres the chance to get a real goaltender. Getting him out of Vancouver might be a blessing.

Luongo is a great goalie, but if getting him means the Hawks don't get another good dman or a 2C, I don't give a **** if Chelsea Dagger will ruin his brain or if he's brilliant.

Gotta address all the problems.

It's been said we have our #2 center. His name is Kane

A- Crawford could easily be moved.

B- Luongo isn't coming to Chicago.

I agree. Bowman would be run out of town. The guy's wildly overrated and a headcase to boot. Toss in the way the Hawks defend and your looking at a trainwreck in the UC. Im tired of retread goalies passing thru Chicago on their way into retirement....Bullin, Huet, Emery....damn, they should've kept Niemi.

Hope that happens soon.

I agree they should have kept Niemi, but since leaving, he's had his struggles too.

The average at best defense in San Jose has kinda confirmed what we all kinda assumed about him. He's an athletically gifted goalie with some flaws who's success is certainly tied to the defense in front of him (in particular, their ability to handle his big ass rebounds).

That said, he's certainly more athletic than Crawford's big ass and I feel he certainly doesn't appear to get rattled like Crawdad (which is a big plus).

@Aportzline on twitter said he heard Luongo to Chicago rumors during draft and that the hawks were trying to make the money work

I really wouldn't mind this move. Of course it depends on the price, but Luongo would be a huge improvement over what we have.

The only thing I'm worried about is hamstringing the future on Luongo's 5.3M cap hit for the next decade.

The two teams that I've been seeing a lot of is Florida and Chicago. Would like to see it happen, but is a pretty big cap hit. Limits what the Hawks can do in free agency.
