My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Cubs
  1. Minnesota United FC
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
  1. Notre Dame Fighting Irish
The two teams that I've been seeing a lot of is Florida and Chicago. Would like to see it happen, but is a pretty big cap hit. Eliminates the Hawks doing anything in free agency for the next decade.

Fixed for the truth.

If we can unload frolik it would be workable

Exactly if the trade involved Crow and Frolik the caphit is practically a wash. Hell even if you can't get the Canucks to trade those two you can find a taker for Crow and stach Frolik in Rockford to get the same result.

It all hinges on what the Canucks want for Luongo. If the price is right, Luongo should be greeted with open arms because he represents a huge upgrade over what we have. He doesn't have to carry the team, but he is good enough to get us where we want to go with some other improvements to the roster.

One reason that it probably won't happen: McDonough knows that it will be terrible PR and lots of fans are meatballs that can't look past the Vancouver thing. Terrible move PR wise. Then again, Hawks have giant fanbase.

TO is also in the mix, I thought.

For what its worth, Jess Rodgers is saying he hasn't heard any Luongo trade talk.

Could be attempt to get the price Gillis wants for Luongo. Hard to believe, seriously. Not the Bowman style.

A very good point. A guy that didn't overbid for Niemi after he won the freaking Cup in Chicago and then didn't exactly break the bank in signing other goalies like Emery and Turco.

I agree. Bowman is focused on other things and making a move like that is not very characteristic of him. Don't see it happening. Wish people would stop arguing and talking about it.

It is the first semi-exciting rumor we've gotten. I think it is worthwile talking about it even if it far-fetched that our GM would do it.

I'm not so sure. Twitter is all aflutter (well, sorta) right now ripe with discussion. The rumor alone right now is creating huge buzz.
