It's been pretty clear that something was up at last week's press conference. A lot of reports are coming out from the Bears and it's pretty clear to me that both Poles and Warren are leaking separate things to make each other look bad (last weeks report that Harbaugh was a no go because of Warren felt like it came from Poles).

At this point I welcome the divorce. If we're going to get a top end HC, he's going to want his guy at GM and Poles hasn't shown he's capable of building a winner so it's best to end this early than too late.

Yeah something was definitely off between them during the press conference. Gonna be an interesting end of the year at Halas. Also doing some digging, Ray Agnew (assistant GM for the Lions) was with the Rams when Warren was there. Warren always talks about his time with the Rams. Agnew could be the key to Ben Johnson if that’s the direction they go. Gonna be VERY interesting.

Poles very well knew Phillips was done and retiring very soon when he was hired. He was taking the job no matter what

Good. Get rid of Poles and promote Cunningham, the guy that actually wanted to fire Flus last year when it was the right thing to do

That would be a fantastic development because Poles is clueless and a hypocrite.

Keeps preaching the importance of character and guys who are hard workers and love practice and then trades for Claypool and signs Nate Davis who were neither of those things.

You know your favorite team is messed up when you find yourself disagreeing and agreeing with ccs posters you've had a contrary stance with historically.

This isn't any sort of credence to @Mighty Joe Young though, he disagrees with himself so often that it's hard not to agree with the twitter takes he posts on a regular basis, and his own thoughts that he contradicts.

I'm good with Poles moving on.

Warren MAY be a complete idiot, but he has a vision, and that's new to Halas Hall. May as well ride it out and see where it goes.
Warren has no vision and is a f’ing clown. He deserves zero benefit of the doubt because of his countless f*ckups in the big 10. He got embarrassed by the ACC & SEC went behind his back to play football in 2020. And he’s also the reason Harbaugh was never coming to Chicago. F this guy. Just another Bears clown that will make a bigger mess of everything.
