Lots of speculation out there that Kop is playing hurt.

Just watch him, he has to be hurt. Hell, Bickell skated him down easily and Kopitar was known for his speed.

Yup makes sense, but so? :D

Yep. Every team ends up revealing some absurd injuries that players were hiding during the postseason. I think Ladd played in 2010 with a torn labrum, IIRC.

That or broken shoulder was something like that.

La minus Richards will come out physical / dirty. We need to match their intensity and play with the same urgency they play with.

If they play physical tonight and win, and get that "home ice thing" going, then get Richards back.....well, we don't need to see a 2-2 series.

I am confident we will not. But 3-0 is the best way to assure it doesn't happen.

I suspect they'll get Game 3 and we'll win Game 4, but I'd love to see us get this one right now!

I honestly don't think Richards will be back the rest of the series. Looked dazed after the hit and kept playing. Concussion symptoms are not taken lightly and doubt they will be gone before end of series.

It's been the story for a while now, but as long as the Hawks effectively corral the puck and breakout from their zone effectively whenever the Kings dump it in, this game should end up as a Chicago win.

LA just doesn't have the skill to navigate the Hawks defensive zone with a series of crisp passes, even moreso with Richards out.

Truth.

Maybe it is because I've been watching games on the DVR, but there has been a fuckload of commercial breaks this first period it seems.

Seems like the Hawks passing is just off a little so far tonight. A lot of passes to space just finding no one.

Are we going to burn our 1st tier icetime on PKs all night long? Shit, stay out of the box.

Easy to see why they win at home. They get away with murder and get every good bounce in the book. But that always ends at some point.

Yep. Nice to know its OK to knock equipment away from players but its not OK to hit.
