But why would you take that away from the one he hasn't played well in and in effect ignore all the others in which he has. Where in 10' it was arguable he could've won the Conn Smythe. My problem with this whole thing isn't the criticism that he's been bad, its the idea that he just doesn't care. That all he wanted to do this season was make Team Canada. Its bullshit.

I'm not insinuating that at all.

Sharp & Hoss both look snakebit offensively. It happens to just about every player. IMHO the difference between good players and great players is that when they're not scoring, they do everything else at a high level that still keeps the puck out of our net, or keeps the puck in their zone to give the hot scoring hands a chance to bury it.

Hossa has done this, and that's why I think he's done well with Bickell and Toews.

Sharp hasn't and I don't think it's because of a lack of effort. I think he's snakebit all around He's not bringing anything to the table that Shaw, Saad, Kane, and Smith aren't, and in the same vein he's not directly hamstringing the team. Moving him down the lines and giving the hot hands is not maligning Sharp--if he gets a scoring touch back he'll show it even with Regin and Handzus.

I don't think Versteeg is really making a lack of effort it in either--he's just making dumb decisions with the puck that are actively hurting. Thus, he needs to be off the ice for someone who's at least invisible, if not someone who will contribute.
