Best series of the playoffs. No chance that the final is going to be better, the disparity between the teams is too big.

How Bowman tweaks the roster for next year will be interesting. I'd like to see new young blood infused to this team to keep them popping. No more Handzus and other elders that can't play anymore. On the fence in regards to Roszy, he might be on his last legs too.

Tough loss but helluva series. Too bad someone has to lose...but shows how hard it is to win

Saad took a big step forward and will have to pick up next season where this left off. Too bad the hook on his breakaway didn't get called

Better luck next year..

Hawks should adapt to the lax officiating in the playoffs and do more obstruction and interference. Kings have done a good job of using that to their advantage.

I just wish they could play with a lead... 18 blown leads in these playoffs. That's just atrocious.

This is why I wasn't excited about the lead unlike my family members on facebook who were already talking about the SCF with the rangers, when the hawks went up 2-0, or the Kings fans on HFboards that were throwing in the towel.

I did the same thing, my brother sent me a text at 2-0 and i said it's great, but there is still a long way to go. half way through the second I told my wife this game was going to OT.

I just don't understand why they change the way they play when they have a lead. They are NOT a good team without the puck. The best defense for the Hawks is possessing the puck and continuing to attack. They change their play style and it bites them in the ass every fucking time.

The screwed up thing is it's not just the hawks. it seems like every team does that at least in the 3rd period in particular.

Couldn't agree more, we are a possession team and the ability of our dmen to play a puck possession game is probably the biggest reason we are so good defensively. That and Meatballs total lack of respect for his own body blocking everything not wearing a red sweater.

I agree. For some of the older people here, how does it compare to 1971?

Since I was -4 in 1971, the game 7 loss to LA may be the most heartbreaking moment for me as a fan.

Same scenario. Led 2-0. Actually had a chance to go up 3-0 and Jim Pappin fanned on an empty net.

Then Espo decided to let in a 100 footer. Same anguish then and now.
