They definitely laid an egg. For me their worst effort, by far, of the year.

Hopefully, they got a wake-up call today, and they're back to playing Blackhawk hockey on Monday.

I was just being sarcastic after game one. I predicted Wings in 7 before the series started.

I swear to god, I'm tired of hearing about Stalberg. He's not a difference-maker like everyone in the media and where ever else is making him out to be.

He's got speed, that's about it. His hockey sense is nill, his shot no accuracy and his hands are made of stone. Surely sometimes he shows flashes of decency, but overall he's nothing more than a one trick pony.

I'd really appreciate it if people would shut up about it. Carcillo is in the lineup to provide an edge and be a menace on the forecheck.

First goal, deflection from a weak shot from the point. Can't really place blame on anybody.

Second goal, Crawford took the shooter, Keith attempted to take the pass, and Sharp lost his guy in the slot who ended up scoring.

Third Goal, Keith stepped up (who the **** knows why), Franzen gets the feed and puts hit over Crawfords shoulder.

4th Goal, Bolland doesn't tie up Zetterberg, Crawford drops early and when he trys to T-Slide the puck goes 5 hole.

Can't blame Crawford for any of those outside of going down too early on the 4th.

No one claims Stalberg is a game breaker. Carcillo sure the hell isn't. The "edge" he brings is nice but it's rather uselss when we need goal scoring in games like today and more guys who can play a possession game. It's not about stalberg breaking games open it's more about getting the 3rd line moving again like it did in the Wild series. Been a large difference without Stalberg on it so far even though Bollands had a good game 1. Also don't like being outskated like today. There is a reason Kane double shifted through the 3rd period..Carcillo was rightfully benched for the bulk of it. Don't want Kane double shifting becomming a regular practice through the 2nd round.

i just want the reg season lines back in order to start the game. Through the games q can shift them up as he pleases. i think it's easier for him having stalberg rather than Carcillo. Personal Opinion. But don't go putting words in peoples mouths like "stalberg is a game breaker" no one ever said that nor even suggested it in any form.

ps..it was seabs on the 3rd goal not keith. Seabs continues to have issues.

Not impressed by Toews crying about the reffing now after the game, only losers do that. He better realize that he got owned by Zetterberg who managed to get a couple of helpers doing so. It was only game 2 and already Tazer is frustrated, better get that head straightened and don't let the opponent into the head, it's not the first time Z has shutdown the opponent and scored points doing so. Coach Q also has that never won against the Wangs in the playoffs monkey on his back and Babcock isn't the easiest coach to go against. The whole team need to shut up and step up. **** this loss made me angry. Had the Hawks shown some effort the loss wouldn't have bothered me, but they got outworked, outsmarted and outcoached.

This.

Also, Carcillo is fucking useless and contributes nothing. Man do I hate him. The third line went from being great, to sucking. Bolland looked like his regular season self again and should be benched for game 3. The entire team was terrible. Any time Toews and Seabrook want to show up for the playoffs is fine by me. Toews needs to shut the **** up and put the puck in the net. Time to put Kane and Toews back together...

Handzus CANNOT match up against Datsyuk or Zetterberg. Total fucking failure by Q putting him out there when they are on the ice.

It would be nice to see Q actually coach, instead of just opening the door and rolling the lines 1 vs 1, 2 vs 2, and 3 vs 3.

PP continues to be an abomination.

agree agree agree!!

Q had the chance to put kane and toews together today but he waited until it was 3-1 and game out of hand. that was my biggest gripe with Q today and i had a few. Kane and Toews should have started the 3rd together if not midway through the 2nd when Detroit was dominating. Consistancy of the top line through these playoffs has been nasty. i have no idea what Saad is doing half the time and hossa pops up then hides like a jack in the box,

everyone is critidizing toews reaction in and after todays game. TSN guys just ripped him for breaking focus. Toews indeeds needs to shut it and start producing. Not the first time he has been shadowed to death but he has produced in the past in spite of it. I have no idea whats Seabs problem is but I would pull him off the PP emediately to start.

Seabrook has been brutal for a while. Is he hurt or something? Because he sure as hell looks like it.

When Toews bitches to the media, you know the other team is in his head. Does not bode well for this series....

hes gotta be hurt. havent seen him play this poorly. its been his worse overall season hands down. cant think of anything else but injury. Or he has post marriage issues like Keith did. Women kill these guys!!

if not hurt then he is having issus without Keith..maybe just maybe seabs needs Keith afterall? I dont thin thats the issue though I really do think hes playing with some sort of injury and has been for a while. probably that puck to the balls earlier in the season.

Hopefully, it's not chronic, bilateral epididymitis. AKA swollen balls.

7 game series? .... Yes! Will the Hawks sweep ? No ! The games they lose some of the players or most of the team will look bad. Come off the ledge, do you think the Wings can take a 7 game series against a much deeper Hawks team ? I don't. The Wings got em today, they needed this one bad, down 0-2 not good.

I believe the Hawks were a little bit full of themselves after game 1 and will win a very tight mistake free game Monday. They play well in Detroit and Crawford has turned in some very good performances there.

As far as Carcillo vs Stalberg, thats a good question. If the team comes out with a different mindset on Monday it won't matter if Bolland is on the 3rd line.

Lighten up on Toews, he has always been a class act, one time in his career he blows off some steam about the officiating and he's suddenly a fucking canuck. He's still the same guy and I doubt he'll play that hand again anytime soon.

How is that on the ledge?

Have you ever seen Captain Serious bitching to the media? Because I haven't. He's not playing well, and now he's bitching to the media. How is that a good thing?

If you think Carcillo is a better option than Stalberg, you need to get your eyes checked, just sayin.

my problem with the first line is that it's being "too nice"

and I don't mean not physical, I mean they pass too fucking much. They get a chance and they're like "no no, you take it!" "no, after you!" "no silly, you take the shot :)"

Kane was getting double shifted because we needed his offensive ability. Had nothing to do with Carcillo. Had Stalberg, Bollig, Mayers or any other 4th liner been on that line Kane still would of played for them.
