Maybe I'm in the minority. I think Dalton gets at least 4 games no matter what. The KC "model" I think will win out in Nagy's head and Fields won't have a realistic shot.

Only difference is that a complete season meltdown has a good chance of costing Nagy his job. Andy Reid had a well above average starter and absolute job security, Nagy has neither.

I don't think anyone truly knows yet. The first OTAs are only this week. I fully expect Dalton to get the majority (if not all) of the 1sts team reps through the OTAs and minicamp. I think it won't get really interesting until training camp to see if Fields starts getting 1st team reps and how many.

The issue is if they go out and do that after Fields looks way better, and if he manages to lose some, or all, of those games, Nagy will have lost the team. Kind of the Russell Wilson effect. Paid a ton of money for Flynn to be a starter, but once the team knew Wilson was better, the coach couldn't force FLynn. And they ate that entire contract...as he was just cut right?
