Chicago Bears vs Seattle Seahawks Recent History
2012: At Soldier Field, the Bears got a turnover on the Seahawks opening drive and the Bears offense responded with a touchdown. The Bears would continue to stop the Seahawks, but the offense fluttered as Michael Bush could not convert on a 4th and 1 and Earl Bennett missed a wide open walk in touchdown. The Seahawks eventually tied the game in the 2nd quarter and then Russell Wilson started to run all over the Bears. The Bears regained the lead 14-10 late in the 3rd, but the Seahawks used a 3 minute drive to take the lead with 32 seconds left in the game. With 2 timeouts remaining the Bears started out at their own 14 yard line and Jay Cutler managed to avoid the pressure and throw a 56 yard bomb to Brandon Marshall which put the Bears in FG position. Robbie Gould would tie the game and send it into OT, but the defense could not stop Seattle, who would score on the opening drive of OT.

2010:
The Bears played again at Soldier Field this time and played rather lacadasical. Jay Cutler was playing his first game back from a concussion and was sacked 6 times. The Bears were thought to be out of the game late with the score 23-13, but Hester returned a punt, but the Bears failed to get the onside kick ending any hope for a come back.

PLAYOFFS: The Bears would get their revenge on the Seahawks in the Divisional Round as they would jump out to a 28-0 lead in the 3rd quarter before Seattle put a few points on the board. The Bears would seal the deal with a 39 yard bomb to Kellen Davis to make it 35-10, though Seattle would score quickly twice more to make the score closer than the game ever was at 35-24.

I could easily see the Bills blowing the Dolphins out. Phins played two of the worst teams in the league. They lost to one and barely scraped by the other.

Seahawks will destroy the Bears thats pretty much a given. Damn I glanced over at the schedule again and the Bears could be 0-6 by the bye. Ouch! As a Bears fan thats the last thing you would want but the painful truth is this team sucks. Getting the 1st Pick in next years draft Is probably the best thing that could come out of this season.

How is this a CBS game? I thought FOX has the rights to broadcast NFC games?

EDIT: So apparently, they changed the rules last year. They made it so that Fox can air certain AFC games and CBS can show certain NFC games.

http://awfulannouncing.com/2014/first-flex-2014-nfl-season-moves-new-england-buffalo-fox.html

Now with the 2014 season marking the beginning of a new television contract among the networks, it marks a change to flex scheduling. The NFL can start flexing in Week 5, but can only do so twice through Week 10. Then in Week 11, the league can flex any game through the end of the season as it has since 2007.

The major change here is that the flex can now benefit CBS and Fox as well. It also means that traditional rules go out the window. It used to be that Sunday afternoon AFC games would be aired solely on CBS and NFC contests exclusively on Fox. And for interconference games, the “visiting” network would produce the broadcast so for instance, if Miami played at San Francisco, it was CBS’s property and if the reverse occurred, San Francisco at Miami, it was Fox’s.

This season, the NFL has allowed Crossover or “Cross flex” games, meaning CBS can air NFC games and Fox to show AFC games. There have been a few minor examples already this season. In Week 1, Buffalo at Chicago which would have been on CBS under the old rules was aired on Fox. In Week 2, Atlanta at Cincinnati which would have gone to Fox, went to CBS and in Week 4, Carolina at Baltimore was on CBS. Next week, Buffalo at Detroit which would have been on CBS will be on Fox.

This is being done to improve the schedules for CBS and Fox so one network won’t have all of the intriguing games for that week and also to ensure one won’t have more games than the other.

No chance the Bears score 17.

Nah they will, it will all come in garbage time doe.... 2nd-4th Quarter once Clausen has turned the ball over 5 times and Fales steps in.

When its 62-3, Fales will come in and start the comeback march with 2 straight touchdowns!
