At this second, they're picking fourth, but they'll move back down as the day progresses. They should finish the day around 7 or 8. Every loss helps.

Anyway, so many of the bears losses this year were by 1 score or less. Thats exactly the kind of scenario where a team flips their record the following year.
And with 8 draft pics, the Bears will certainly have the opportunity to infuse this team with talent and be on the winning side of these close games next year.

i didnt say it was conservative, it was simply safe. though the bolded is exactly what i meant. aggressive, maybe, but not stupid... considering the D that they have out there. odds of the O picking up the first were far greater than the D keeping them out of FG range.
just because something involves taking a risk youre not willing to take that doesnt make it stupid. but then i prefer a team with some balls. id rather lose while aggressively pursuing a win.

Pull for a win, not disappointed in a loss. I like where we are going. I think strengthening both lines in the offseason will be a start.

that's more indicative of some miscues and some bad luck at the hands of the refs... not a massive divide in the playcalling. the talent is a bunch of kids now. they're just filling space. and they're playing with some effort. this team should be great soon.
