Nope... they just can't air a different opinion then that of the ONE BRAINED Canucks Nation. There is no free thinking in that fan base... they all latch onto ideas and theories that any of them makes. And if you disagree you're not a true Nucks fan.... God I hope the Hawks win tomorrow and those faggots wipe themselves off the face of the earth.

Does anyone think that Bickells hit was a head shot? I have watched it several times and have to conclude that it was shoulder to shoulder. He could have gotten two for leaving his feet but that is all I see.

Doesn't matter, it was in the area behind the net known as the "Killing Zone". Oh, and does anyone think that the lopsided powerplays have to do with the fact that the Canucks were the 6th most penalized team this year, and the Hawks were the second least penalized team this year?? I mean, I know there's no such thing as a level-headed, logical Canucks fan, but when you bring relative stats into the conversation, it's hard to dispute.

It "was" but it was a legal hit per the rules. Shoulder only... AND it was behind the net so it's ok.

Yup blame Colin Campbell's "safe zone". All is fair in love and "hitting zones". I am more surpised that Bolland was not called for his hit on Hamhius....however I am pleased at the well timed redemption.

I have heard Gillis presser 5 times now on the radio and boy can that guy fucking whine and cry. Apparently John Scott is in his head too. If all John Scott can do is "beat peoples faces" then why are you sooooo overly concerned Gillis? Your team isn't finishing their chances and your goalkeeping has stunk. Absolutely nothing has to do with officiating. NOTHING!!! Don't feed me this "we can't gain momentum when we are on the PK all the time" B.S. You were all over us in the 3rd period last night and you faaaaaaaaaaaaailed to convert on any chances.

You can also stick your powerplay number and stats up your ass. Your team is one of the hackiest teams in the league. You have been getting away with just as much if not more than the Hawks or any other team in the playoffs. you get called for penalties because YOU DESERVE THOSE FUCKING PENALTIES!! Yes I will give you this the Hawks got away with a few last night..guess what? SO DID YOU!!!!!! You fail to watch the penalties your OWN team gets away with..but I guess that's your job..you fail to watch your own team and focus too much on the other. Possibly explains why you traded a rookie of the year candidate for a #8 blueliner? So take your little stat numbers....crumple em up in a little ball and shove em up your ass and your players. The problem isn't officiating. It's you..your coach....your goalie and your unproductive depth roster.....and perhaps the fact that the Hawks are a better team than you probably want to give them credit for. God knows the day a Canucks fan or player or fan gives the opposition some credit is a day I will stop jerking off to Ben Smith posters...that's never going to happen so Ben Smith? I LOVE YOU!!

Vancouver continues to cry and whine and cry and whine and cry and whine and cry and whine over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again!!!!

I suspect the one you have on your door is the one with the evil glare he gave in game 5. That look is freaky sexy hawt now drop your pants and take it anally while standing.

The funny thing is I am proving Gillis wrong but at the same time giving the Canucks some credit. So why would they ignore it?

I am a nice Hawks fan. I give credit where credit is due. Canucks can overcome a lot of calls against them..they have proven in game 3 that they can. Gillis says his team can not gain momentum and get hungry after being on the PK for much of a game. I showed that they did in game 3 and did much in the late period in game 6 but just couldn't finish on Craw.

So infact I am giving the Canucks more credit than their own fucking GM!!!! I would be up in arms if Gillis were our GM and said these things. Talk about not having any confidence in your team. THIS IS YOUR OWN GM CANUCKS!!!! if I were the GM and wanted to talk about officiating I would say "yah the officiating has been poor but we will overcome that because we have the talent and motivation to do so". Guess when you don't have the talent or the motivation you can't say it.

Anything but blaming their own team. If they got a man advantage the whole game tomorrow, and managed to lose they will still blame the reffing from the previous games.

All I know is the hawks need to play the most disciplined game of their lives tomorrow because I know the nucks are going to get some freebies to shut them up.

I predict a couple of shit calls in the first then they will let them play. Weather the storm.

This from Dan Berstein: I just loved it.

Outside their arena, immortalized in sculpted bronze, is a statue of Roger Neilson, their head coach from 1982 to 1984. Neilson is depicted waving a towel on the end of a hockey stick, as he did famously in the 1982 playoffs against the Blackhawks when he felt his team was being unfairly penalized.

Just so we’re clear here; it’s not, say, a six-time champion, like some statues outside of some arenas we may know — it’s a statue of a guy whining about officiating.

Well said by Bersie for once, probably because he thought about it before he blurted it out.

While I understand the Nucks fans love for Roger, it is somewhat embarassing to think of what it stands for. LOL good god a heritage of whining, nice.

The Blackhawks were the third-least-penalized team in the NHL this year. They had 742 penalty minutes as compared to 943 for Vancouver. The disparity is even worse when you look at minors (which more accurately reflects power play chances than overall penalty minutes), where the Hawks were second-to-last with 265 minors while Vancouver was seventh with 348. With that in mind, a 15-10 disparity over three games should come as no surprise to Gillis...too bad he didn't throw those numbers out when he started spewing his nonsense every chance he had!
