If Im not mistaken..I believe he lives in a pretty ritzy town outside of Chicago
You're mistaken...same shithole as I live in.
Elgin, and not South Elgin...which is nicer.

Fact is Chicago is mostly a shithole. Beat up old houses, pothole heaven, ridiculous traffic, shitty weather.....what more could you want?

All you people who hate Chicago and/or don't live there need to get a life. The title of this thread is clear, if you don't like it there's another thread for you to express your hate. I'm so sick
p.s. Om is a ******.
This screams I love ChicagoAlso I may have jury duty tomorrow (for like the fourth time in eight years the fucks) and it'll take an hour and a half to get there by public transit.
This screams I love Chicago
:yep:
If it's something about Chicago that you love, yes, very much so.Well public transportation was mentioned earlier, isn't that then part of the discussion?
You know I'd be okay completely with the weather if true winter was only December/January (we can have all the cold, blizzards, ice during this time)..February mostly saw 30-40 degrees..March 40-50, April 50-60, May 60-70..so on...Fall arrived in September..Spring actually happened. That kind of thing.
Well I mean...that's why we have two threads for the different opinions?Well if you don't love the weather of Chicago then take it to a different thread apparently, discourse is not allowed.
It was a comparison to Chicago public transport which I believe someone said they liked. We don't need to pursue this line of inquiry any further, but if you really wanna bash on CTA or whatever the more appropriate thread is the things I hate about Chicago thread.Well why am I getting singled out? There was talk about San Fran's public transport system and DC's what does that have to do with things people love about Chicago?
Are we talking about the suburbs? I took the thread title as "the Chicago metropolitan area" which includes the suburbs.
My question to Ommy is: Which of these problems is he avoiding by living in the suburbs.
You're mistaken...same shithole as I live in.

Hmm intrigued. Where?
I must be wrong then, but I thought it was a nicer upscale town he lived in
