No doubt.
Even the meats and produce are starting to impress me.
Grass-fed ground beef for five bucks a pound?!?!?
I have a lesser opinion of Aldi than most here. Think of their stuff as being very low quality across the board. The one in our area has a ton of nuts but nothing in the way of the king of nuts, macadamia. They also have a 2lb frozen bag of wild caught salmon filets for incredibly cheap but the quality is obviously far worst than that which I get elsewhere for 5-6 more bucks. Their produce often looks shabby as well, as if it won't hold up much longer than it takes to get it out the door.
And watch for tricks with foods labeled all natural, grass fed, cage free and the like. It quite likely is not natural if you look at the ingredients and saying something is grass fed doesn't mean anything at all. Need to look for that which says 100% Grass Fed or the like. Cage free also means little more than the right to add a couple of bucks to the cost. There's another Aldi "coming soon" even closer to us. Hopefully they do more to impress.
