After watching The Witcher TV season, I decided I wanted to play the first 2 games, since I only ever played the 3rd one.
Steam had them on a deal like 80% off, so I snagged 1 and 2.
Figured I would sorta binge play Witcher 1, just do the main story missions, don't derp around doing all the side quests.
40 hrs of gameplay later.... on Chapter IV lol

It is painfully simple.... use the right style, click button at right time to keep doing combos.
Right click sometimes to use a sign.

I'm pretty sure the laptop I was using at the time was laggy so my timing was always off and I could never combo. Totally setting myself up for failure. Never tried again after getting a new one...perhaps I should

Yeah, it definitely had some "rough" edges, to put it mildly. By the time I finished it though, I was actually kind of surprised how much I had enjoyed it.

You'll have to play through Witcher 2 twice, since it branches mid-story and gives you two different experiences depending on who you choose to side with.

It was on gamepass for free if you have Xbox. Think this second would will be one of the first games on next gen consoles this upcoming holiday season.

Think you can save right before you have to make your decision if you dont want to start all over again.
That or play on casual/easy just to focus om the story if you dont want to spend ages in combat.

I have it for PS4. I'm not an XBox guy. I went PC for the XBox exclusives that I want to play. I've started buying most games for PC since the graphics just blow consoles out of the water, but I'll stay with PS for their exclusives. Would like to get a Switch as well, but can't justify spending the money when I can't play the games I already have.
