I finished heart of stone that expansion was incredible. I chose to help olgrid at the end. Odim is an awesome ass character

I finished the main story. I got what people label the good ending. I did watch the alternate endings on YouTube

about to start the last expansion. After that on to playing horizon zero dawn

Forgot I had a New Game plus character who was level 92 so finished all the quests my level 92 had already done on my level 37 character then swapped over to the level 92.

Now just bouncing back and forth between original main quest, Heart of Stone and Blood and Wine and will get him to level 100 and finish up all the quests and hidden locations.

Just finished Heart of Stone as that is a bit shorter and helped Olgierd as well mainly for the better rewards. Otherwise would have let him die. It is a great story but dislike him for what he did to the Prince and how his men were going to behead that dude before I intervened. That early fight against Olgierd is actually one of the tougher ones in the game.

My choice would be Assasins Creed Homeworld set on the world Juno and the rest of the gods come from.

That or a space setting like on a huge unexplored space station.

Well this is different lol

I'm looking forward to someone getting really irrationally bent about this:

This would appear to be a part of CD Projekt Red's decision not to include a traditional gender option in the game, instead offering a "really inclusive" expanded character customization menu.

It’s better than just forcing some weird sjw tripe on everyone. Choose what you want and enjoy. I’m just saying 20 years ago this wasn’t even a thing lol

Same as with movies and TV, things have evolved.

The way I look at the evolution of gender identity/roles and/or sexuality is this:

I have no issue with shows or movies or games writing in modern, often non-traditional characters/roles, so long as they don't:

1. Don't make it cartoonishly dramatic
2. Don't inject it into a series in a reactionary way, where you go from norms circa 2000-2010 and suddenly gender norms/roles or sexual norms update 10-20 years in one episode.
3. Don't do #2 and #1 at the same time, it is even worse.

If your writing has modern stuff baked in from the start where the characters are just people living under such norms, I find no issue.

If your writing injects modern stuff into an existing narrative and forces the characters/plot to scream like a SJW Twitter mob, well I will cringe hard af.

Smart move by CDPR. It will create buzz and increase interest in game. Definitely picking this up given how good Witcher is.

I wondered if they would ever put some Witcher content in the game as Ciri does mention her and Avallach visiting our world as she tells Geralt he wouldnt believe what she has seen as she speaks of people getting around in metal boxes and flying machines. There is also a scene in the books where she visits the future.

Assassin Creed-NASA? Assassin Creed-Pentagon?
I doubt they would let us murder government officials for fun in a game while revealing dirt on them. No doubt tho, sounds fun, time to find a piece of eden in space or perhaps...eden is a creation from UFOS.

I want AC/Ubisoft to drop something like a Third Servile War type, but not like Odyssey tho, more like the Gladiators/slaves fighting for their freedom and also follow Spartacus and his gang throughout his rise to rebellion and finally his death... or just maybe Spartacus didn't die in battle!

I think you should man, you play witcher and so do I. I'm playing AC-Black Flag for the 4th time but this time it's on PS4 pro with a 4k monitor, played it 2 times completely on ps3 and once on shitBOX.
AC is all about the story and finessing historical criminals in so many crazy murderous ways (i meant it). Patience is definitely required but it pays off if you play the franchise all the way thru by release dates. Desmond's back story alone is worth it after you solve puzzles (ex.,god of war), and the fight system is hands down awesome.

must play is AC BLACK FLAG..even if it's just one AC..it's this one. best fuckin game in a long time for me, story is amazing, has some of the best writing & dialogue wise, the Naval battles is sick AF, Edward Kenway is a finesse Assassin, totally awesome fight style, Edward Kenway just whoops ass! beautiful game too, i'm staring at the screen right now just being amused.. certainly docked at Nassau.

AC 1 & 2- both classics..these two will make you a pro, Ezio and Altaïr is basically the same fighters and smooth AF.

AC 3, Connor is brute..I love this one cause it's base on the Revolutionary War, and I'm Native American myself. Connor is a beast with the tomahawk, he's really brutal with it, the kills motions is wicked.

There's plenty of discounts deals in app-stores, Black Flag is a must without doubt tho.

I'm looking for a game I can play online with a friend coop. I'm open, but he likes WW2 or other type war games with snipers. Tanks or ships would be fine too.
We tried a Ghost Recon but didn't really care for it. I'm not a fan of Ubisoft either.
Anyone have a suggestion for a coop game?

What platform?

PC is way easier to find co-op games.

Console it is more limited.

I will assume console.... Army of Two is older, but was a really fun series for 2 buddies.

Gears of War has always been a good/fun co-op game.

Anthem, while dying, is still a fun co-op game if you've got buddies to join you.

Co-op shooters you can play humans vs game are oddly rare.

There are dozens of multiplayer shooters, especially FPS, but I somehow doubt you and your buddy are looking to get on Call of Duty so you can get pwned by 12 year olds.

Thanks, and a big yes to the bold. We are both on Xbox One.
And you're right about no Call of Duty type of game. Kinda of looking for more of a strategy type game. I'll check out Army of Two, GoW and Anthem.

Are you guys able to play in-person or only online?

Not sure if this is a buddy who's nearby.... Army of Two has 3 games and I don't know if any of the 3 allowed for online co-op.

But those Army of Two games were some of the most challenging/fun co-op I've ever played.

You pick from one of the 2 main characters, but you get to customize them... their guns, their masks, etc.

And in the game it uses this aggro system, so the way we played it... my buddy was the lighter, faster, stealthier, killer who tried not to draw aggro, moved in close and eliminated targets.

I played as the longer range, heavy.... I carried the machine gun and/or SAW, and I would setup and draw lots of aggro so the enemies would all focus fire on me while my buddy moved.

It was/is as great concept IMO.... they should make more like it.

He lives close so we could play in-person at times, but with Covid and him having two young kids it would be tough for now. I watched a video of Army of Two and it looks good but if online coop is not available that would be an issue. I can't see us playing in-person anytime soon.

Might want to look at Gears of War then... the first 2 games do not have online co-op, but the last three (Gears 3, 4, and 5) have online co-op.

They are similar combat, better story IMO, and they are enjoyable playing co-op or single.

Yeah Black Flag was my favorite. Helped that it had The Bahamas as one of the main locations.
