I wish Rockstar hadn't basically abandoned RDR2 online. They put all that effort into creating the online but then basically did the barest of bare minimums to maintain it. I'd rather not have the online aspect and instead have more story content but since that doesn't make them more money, we got the worst of both worlds. The main game is an amazing game, one of my favorites (along with RDR). I thought with all the open area of the online that maybe we'd get a remake of the original game but that didn't pan out either.
I don’t usually play online but some friends and I who all got redemption when it came out were looking forward to forming a posse and hog-tying strangers once online debuted. Needless to say it never happened.

I’m still playing hold em in blackwater and blackjack in rhodes…. Alone… with npcs

Do all the far cry games have a twist at the end

I played the 2nd one up to the one prior to the most recent release.

They almost always have a twist, but not necessarily at the end.

Didnt realize the last of us remastered is coming to PC. had been hoping it and 2 would be ported one day after seeing other PS exclusives getting a pc port. I havent seen an official release date, but it was suppose to be after the PS5 release.... which is out now.

saves me from buying a ps4 just to play 2 games.. last of us 2 and ghosts of tsushima. hopefully i dont have to wait a year for 2, but ill def replay 1 once it hits pc. hopefully ghost gets that treatment in the next year or so too..

Tried Madden 23 on pc with the 10 hour free trial and god it is awful. I started with Face of the Franchise since last year's version was horrible, I wanted to see if there was any improvement. There were so many graphical bugs. My character was talking to some lady and she kept walking through walls. The facial animations on both characters didn't actually work so my character and this person they're "talking" to are audibly talking but their mouths aren't moving. The lady tells my character to go to the locker room and he floats through two walls. Shortly after that, I'm supposed to go on the practice field. This is probably 15 minutes into the game, still haven't actually played any football yet. The practice scene starts and crashes to desktop. So not playing that mode again.

So then I start franchise mode with the Bears. I choose the up to date roster option while beginning in preseason. I go to look at my depth chart and Alex Leatherwood isn't even on the team despite being claimed by the Bears a week ago. So much for "up to date" rosters. I played a preseason game against the Chiefs, nothing remarkable about the gameplay. The atmosphere in the game is dead. The actual gameplay just isn't fun. Franchise mode looked pretty much the same as every other year, still have the goofy "player, coach, owner" modes. It's just wild to me how bland it is with the pricetag this game comes with.

So looks like another year of skipping Madden. I would still rather play NCAA Football 14 than any of the Madden games released since then.

Just keep playing franchise mode on madden 2005.. it was the high point of madden

I played Madden until like 2006-2007 and then got pretty heavily into NCAA.

Each year you could download NCAA rosters and play a school as your franchise.

Even if you didn't do the names for the original rosters, after 3-4 years on Franchise you'd have a whole set of random players.

At one point my created character was both the starting QB and the starting SS, and I would hit-stick mfers with my QB wristband lol.

Those were the glory days of video game football for me.

I haven't played a sports game in probably 5 or 6 years now... have considered trying a baseball game.

My problem is that sports are real world games with real world feels, and video games tend to cater to the button-mashing autistic TikTok generation.

I want immersion, not just 10+ TDs per game.

Every couple of years post 2005 I'd pick up a madden to see if it was still crap and it was.
I remember one hilarious year the Franchise mode was so broken. During the draft the game wouldn't provide enough players at each position. You have 7 fullbacks and like 1 corner. By season 3 teams were forfeiting games because they didnt' have enough players.

I also broke the game by drafting a tight end with 98 speed.. just sent him on a go route every play nobody could cover him.

I feel like they had plays in almost every year of the game where you could find a way to exploit them for easy/unrealistic Touchdowns.

To the point its probably the way the online/tournament stuff is done, gotta know which plays work with which exploits and which players you need for those exploits.

Always felt like a race to the bottom with Madden, to the point they were putting out versions that were not even proper roster updates lol.

I keep crossing my fingers it'll open up to competition.

IDK why i keep playing 7D2D.. Im past the 400 hour mark at this point. COming back and seeing the changes with all the update was okay. Now i just spend time gaining xp so I can max level. Horde nights are meh. I built a glitched empty floor funnel and just shoot em all down.. if i miss they fall into blade traps.. if they survive that. they gotta get through spikes.. if they survive that.. they just circle right back to the entrance of my funnel...... yay

After years of creative mode, the Kid has gotten into minecraft survival mode. So Ive been investing some time there with him. Now the spoiled seed wants me to upgrade the family rig with an RTX gpu, cause its too laggy on console when tnting the map and cause it has no ray tracing... good luck with that

Still need something to play for me.. Anything mindless but fun? Willing to think if its really immersive and fun ...

My streamer friend played a game tonight on stream called "The Good Time Garden". It's a free game but also the weirdest fucking game I've ever seen. It's like an acid trip made into a video game. It's a really short game but it's also one of those "what the **** am I watching" games.

Just finished Assassin's Creed Syndicate Got the Platinum trophy. Very good game. Rekindled my love for the AC series.
I was a big fan of the Assassin's Creed game back in the day. Played all the way through the early games to Black Flag, which was one of my favorite games. Stopped after that. At the time, I didn't have a ps4 to play unity and rogue sounded stupid. Also I heard they were both full of bugs so I haven't played an AC game until I got Syndicate for $5.

The bad: Still has the janky AC controls. Your person often seems to randomly grabs things or jumps in the wrong direction. This can be really frustrating in any situation when moving with speed is important. Need to chase someone down, oops you just got stuck on something or went the wrong way.

The good: Bugs, yes bugs. The bugs that happen are usually funny and don't affect the game play at all. I was once driving a a carriage during a mission and a bunch of crazy stuff was going on. I was being chased by police and bad guys. I crashed into another carriage it flipped over and flew way into the air. The driver still in seated position flew out of the carriage and floated past me and out into space. The only bug that caused problems was when a guard didn;t reset properly. He got stuck trying to walk back to his place and was in front of the place I needed to go.

Missions are fun even the ones that repeat. You liberate sections of London by doing a set of mission types that happen over and over. You can sneak around, my favorite tactic or just beat the crap out of everybody.

You get this new zip line tool that make sit easier to move around the city.

The Great: London. HOLY CRAP the city is great. It's the best most actual alive place I've ever been in a video game. There are peopel everywhere doing things. It's almost like real people. Lovers in a corner whispering to each other. People cleaning the sidewalks. Children playing. Children begging. The city was realistic districts. The poor neighborhoods are full of working class people dressed shabbily with children and drunks everywhere. The rich part of town is full of fops in fancy dress. There are all these well designed little cool sections. You'll find a little park in some corner. It's not there to be part of any mission. It's just there.

Now onward to Ghost of Tsushima
