Just started playing it, so I'm not too far into it. Didn't think much of it at first, but kinda thought it was getting a little better. I've been doing the side quests except for the serve and protect ones. I mean I'll do them if I come across them, but I'm not going to wander around forever trying to find them. For it being free I won't complain too much, same with Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Played a few matches and it was fun enough, but there's just not enough variety to keep it that way.

you can unlock dash which helps in combat, but while not in combat mode you cannot use dash. walking around the city or elsewhere is so slow.

At times this game feels like a basic rail shooter from a 80/90s arcade. that just happens to let you move. i get the source material is robocop.. but not being able to jump, sprint just makes it so slow.. technically you can sprint but thats slow as too. its like going from a crawl to a walk... no real cover system other than stand in front of an object.... some dumb shit thats suppose to be amusing i guess.

like spoiler - theres a mission with a burning building.. as an optional thing you can save a random person. that person wont leave until you find their cat. i left that **** in there to burn.. i wish i got the satisfaction to watch it happen.

Ai is weak.. i fought an ed 209 from a doorway.. i never moved.. **** couldnt hit me...

unlimited ammo with standard weapon.. i had one set up where i never even had to reload it.. that was auto

the only thing i found interesting was that gun upgrade system. however i dont think it really made a difference with the combos i set up.. maybe it did.. but i didnt notice.

asset reuse got old. voice acting syncing/animation to scene was meh..

its was just a basic meh game to me.. robocop looked nice.. and was nostalgic in ways.. but as a shooter... its meh.. its more like a weak rpg that rewards you with some basic shooting gameplay here and there..

All valid points dude. I get the jump thing was so annoyed not moving because some little thing was in my way. It's not ground breaking and it's clunky, but if you're a RoboCop fan it's worth a try. And since I am and being a little biased I think it's ok. Nothing exceptional, but overall fairly good.

Definitely could have been done way better, but it brought be down nostalgia Lane.

mo pwer to ya. i agree its has a nostalgic factor, but thats not enough for me when looking at it as a game as a whole. even the leaving the police station cut scene grew old.. lazy reuse bs..

did you do the get me a towel side quest.. that was early game.. im like wtf..

Yellow towel? Nah I get yah. I mean people raved about Ghost of Tush and I'm like yeah can't follow anymore trails or raid a camp. Gorgeous game, but run of the mill. I almost feel like games have came to that stagnant way.

Still looking forward to your take on Yakuza 0. Game is clunky as **** and slow as **** at the begining.

i quit ghost cause i got tired of the side shit and trying to 100% the game.. came back weeks later and stuck to the story and enjoyed it. didnt 100% it but got close since i did most of the repetitive side shit..

I am enjoying GTA V.

Mostly the golf lol.

I kinda wonder why stealing cars (the core of the game) has no mechanics to it, no mini games or skill requirements around unlocking the cars, starting the engines, disabling alarms, disabling gps, etc so you can steal the best cars.

Instead I can just walk up to any vehicle of any size or type and just steal it immediately, I don't even wait, and when you're the player, they let you do it.

i installed the enhanced version but didnt feel like playing it again.. just looked around at the visuals..

beat it for console, then beat it on pc years ago.. i enjoyed my pc run more.. cause i basically just followed the story as opposed to grinding around the world on console. never got into online..

what i need to do are find mo betta mods to fix IV, so i can replay that on PC.

I am playing the enhanced version on PC and didn't realize how long ago it came out, 2013, damn.

What do you mean when you say you were grinding around?

I know there's return property, rob store, and rob armored trucks.

Are there more grindy things to do I haven't found?

Or are you talking about the side stuff like races and rampages and whatnot marked on the map?

cant remember every specific thing on the side now, like you said long time ago... but basically everything that wasnt tied to the main story. played 100+ hours on console... tennis.. was there a triathlon?... even lil stuff like picking up a trick to see if they did the deed..... exploring.. flying, races... causing mayhem like it was gta 3....

edit: just had a mental flashback i remember some drug induced alien rampage arch?

yeah probably why i just remembered it out of the blue..

started rust on a pve server to learn some things.. def some stuff to learn in that environment..

i see why this game is a life sink once pvp is the thing.. grind, build, protect.. probably so many base/raid strategies/meta etc.. dunno if imma keep learning things and move to pvp or play something else.. cause idk if i want to invest thousands of hours.

The Remasted Oblivion looks amazing, gone are those goofy potato heads. Lets see if this new version can change my Elder Scrolls rankings.

1. Morrowind
2. Skyrim
3. Oblivion

Same. It was such a weird gaming experience. Played the hell out of it. Didn't get the whole "magic weapons/armor" thing for an embarrassing long time. I spent a lot of my time ignoring the main quest, dungeon diving and having epic, standard sword and shield battles with weak enemies. No fast travel, I walked everywhere, picking flowers and making potions to sell in the towns. It was a blast, but I don't have time for that anymore.

Eventually I figured out the magic situation and made two weak, ass spells. One either shocked or set myself on fire and the other healed that damage of the first spell.
The whole time I'm walking from town to town, picking flowers and making potions, I'm also hurting and healing myself over and over. By the time I got back to the main quest, I had the fingers of the mountain spell, with max damage and figured out how to recharge the more powerful enchanted weapons to use them over and over, so the main quest fell apart because I was two powerful, clearing every screen in seconds.

Also, at some point I got weird and picked up every skull I found and storing it in one of the rooms of my house. If you ran into the room, there would be a chain reaction of skulls bouncing off the walls.
