Yeah if LeBron comes and the Bears stay mediocre I think the Bulls would take over, a-la 1990's.

I guess hate is a strong word. I just dont care about it at all. I dunno it just doesnt appeal to me.

I guess it is that basketball doesnt have that "big moment" like other sports. Like in hockey, baseball, football you work hard for minutes, sometimes hours until you finally score and its a big deal when you acheive it.

In basketball they score almost every time and the only big moments are buzzer beaters which rarely happen.

I mean I can see how it could appeal to some people. The athleticism could be fun to watch. Its just not my thing. I was at Purdue for the last 4 years with highly ranked teams and never attended or watched a game.

do you know the whole sport and how its works, rules etc............

some people tend to not like sport because they dont know the stats and how the game works, that was the case with me a couple of years ago when i was starting to watch hockey. didn't know jack.

me, i was raised watching and playing basketball during the 90's. while the bulls were winning ship after ship. that just added fuel to the fire for my love for the game of basketball. basketball has alot of action imo. amazing athletic quickness, athleticism, dribbling, footwork, and shooting abiliteis. shooting a basketball while being contested is pretty damm hard to do. requires alot of skill and poise.

well, does are some of my reasons as why basketball is a great sport.

Do you even know how long the season ticket list is for the Hawks? I guess not.

I think someone needs reading comprehension that passes the 5th grade level because I clearly said we could be on the verge of a dynasty, not we're in the middle of one. :slap:

Im willing to bet that its not as long as the Bears.

The 5th grade? Kid, didnt you just graduate from the 5th grade? You punk, no wonder you get jumped, you open your mouth way too much.
Yup, what anytime fails to realize is the Hawks have a dynasty on their hands.
Hmmm so they have a dynasty on their hands but you said they could be on the verge of a dynasty...You have to win at least two titles to have a dynasty on your hands. What the Hawks have right now is a core of players capable of being a dynasty.

When people say "We have a prblem on our hands" or "I have too much time on my hands" they aren't talking about what they COULD have, its what they DO have. Learn to comprehend your own writing or just dont fn write at all.

I love basketball because you can play basically whenever you want. Here in FL, you go to any major gym and theres a court with people of all ages and sizes playing. Most neighborhoods and parks have courts. All schools have both indoor and outdoor courts. Its so readily available and anyone can just pick up a ball and play. Football, hockey and baseball are tougher to put together. Its too bad.

Ha yeah I complain about that all the time. I wish I loved playing basketball because like you said its so easy to just go play.

My favorite sports to play are baseball and hockey and its hard as hell to get a full game. Very frustrating.

yeah bears are Chicago's team.

if the bears get to the level they were in 06 they could overtake the hawks quite easily. if not and the hawks win another ship, different story.

That's what I've been trying to say, thanks.

Not saying the Hawks are on top right now, just that they could be, if the other Chicago teams don't start winning. And it could happen rather quickly, because the Hawks are loaded for plenty more championship runs.

My biggest issue with basketball is I'm no good at it. That's my only issue, really. I think it's a good sport, but I prefer football, hockey, and baseball.

Who cares if youre not good? Just play. My favorite sport is football and i couldnt for my life get a game together. It sucks because it would be nice to get a game going every couple weeks.

See being bad doesnt bother me. I was terrible at hockey and baseball when i started playing but that just made me want to practice more and love the game even more.

Basketball is a sport you must play a lot to be good at it. Its all about repetition. Even if you suck its just fun to run some full court. Its competitive and its a good workout if you need some cardio.

Is the Bears season ticket list nearly five years? I don't think so.

I'm actually a senior thank you very much and if you could read a profile, it clearly says I'm 17, seeing as you were the last visitor to my page. Oh, and too bad you can't open your mouth on an internet :turrible:

What he said was the Hawks have a dynasty on their hands, which means that they COULD become one very soon.

Too bad you fail to comprehend exaggeration. Your 17 and in HS, to me youre young. You were 12 the last time a major sports team in Chicago won a championship and you were 5 the last time the Bulls won a title. Too young to remember a damn thing. Youre simply a moron if youre to believe that the Hawks have taken over as Chicagos favorite team or have even surpassed arguably the NBAs biggest sports market in the Chicago Bulls because of one current stanley cup. Im sorry it doesnt work that way.

And of course i dont see anything that debates the fact that you said they "have a dynasty on their hands" which indeed means that they currently have one.

Again, i will bet the Bears have a longer waiting list. If im wrong, i will leave this site and never look back. Thats how confident i am in the subject. Are You willing to do the same? But you are a cowardly kid, you would probably just make another name.

Right this second, Blackhawks

Once the Stanley Cup hangover ends:
1) Bears
2) Cubs
3) Bulls
4) Blackhawks
5) White Sox

Yes I put the Bulls ahead of the Blackhawks. They still get just as good of TV ratings as the Blackhawks despite being average. If they get LeBron, watch out.

True. I'd spend more time playing it but since I picked up a hockey stick for the first time a few years ago, I haven't been able to put it down.

I don't mind sucking at hockey because it's a sport I want to be better at. Basketball just doesn't hold my interest.

Football was my first sport as a child, though, and it will always be my favorite. But like you guys have said, it's so hard to get football games together.
