Can of what? I'm curious, who is still resisting the pull tab?

I said earlier ITT big restaurant can openers will eventually be the only can openers left, because of giant industrial sized cans, that are not conducive to pull tabs.

I'm halve kidding, check the date, that thing could be 10 years old. I love Costco, but I have seen items with expired sell by, use by dates, I point it out and they immediately take the stuff off the shelf.

That is strange, because I randomly noticed the date when I was opening the can was sometime in 2020.

Got me thinking about going through my cupboard and checking all the cans for dates. Which got me to thinking about how you always hear new stories about how people do not have more than one or two days worth of food at their house and I realized that I had over ten days worth of canned food on the one shelf where I keep soups and beans and tuna n such. Made me wonder if people just don't keep a few extra long term storage items around, if they just cannot afford to buy more food then they are going to eat, or if they never cook and eat out all the time.
