This is my handsome boy. Found him on petfinder.com when he was only 3 months old. I drove out to the Quad Cities from Chicago to pick him up. Now he is 5 years old and has a loving home.

I also have a cat, but sometimes hate that little ******.

My mutt Casey. Not sure exactly what she has in her.

And our husky Deniro, who we had to put to sleep earlier this year. Something happened that paralyzed his rear legs. Not easy to handle because he was over 100 lbs.

Just 'cuz I need to cat-bomb the thread -- here's one of my cats.

Introducing the undisputed queen of all cats. The Duchess of Down Comforters, Juice. She's a six-year-old Himalayan. She's been there for me through a lot of things over the last six years, both good and bad.

Did you all know that your dogs can do an amazing trick? They can remove stones from vehicle front tires? You have to probably role the tire a bit but the dog always gets the stone out

Kitties can do thus trick too. ;)

I like Jack Russells. I have a friend that breeds them. I may get one eventually

I've always read the Mastiffs were really good, even tempered dogs. If I had the money I would probably already have an Italian Mastiff/Cane Corso.

I hope you both have had your shots

He had plenty, trust me. Spent over 7 grand on chemotherapy over a year, then the cancer came back and we had to let him go. Incredibly sad. I loved that dog.

I don't have a dog -- have two cats. My parents have a German Shepherd puppy. She's 9 weeks old, named Gemma. They had to put our other Shepherd Heidi to sleep earlier this year.

Here's mom and dad's dog from over the weekend.

My parents have a Shepherd too, fantastic dog- though she's liable to kill anyone who comes into the home that she doesn't recognize. That's pretty much what you want in a watchdog, but you also have to prepare for it when company comes over (she either get's put out in the back yard or in the basement before people can come in)
