Speaking of shitty colones. How about Brute? They basically give it away at supermarkets. When I was a kid my dad used to walk by, open it, slash some on his neck and put it back on the shelf.

I don't wear cologne a whole lot. Normally just some deodorant and a maybe a quick spray of Axe.
