A 2nd plus change, but I believe the Bears would be happy with a quality C or Swing T as well. Maybe a player as described plus a 5th?

What does a 2nd and some change mean even? A 2nd round pick already has a range of value from the beginning to the end of the round.

Trade JJ (future salary) and Fields for the #8 overall.
Grab Caleb at #1. With the 8 and 9th picks grab the stud tackle from Notre Dame and use the other for a WR.
