What sort of HAUL do you expect the Bears to get for Fields?

Another of the "nobody wants Fields" group. How about they didn't even offer him? Ever think of that? Let's dump our starting QB so we can draft a guy based on a 20 minute interview and nothing else.

lol regardless of if the bears officially offered him does not stop teams from inquiring and/or making offers...Poles talked about it at his press conference that if opportunities arose pre free agency they would look at it and make the best decision...Was fields atop anyone's wish list? Did anyone even make a real offer?

A 2nd plus change, but I believe the Bears would be happy with a quality C or Swing T as well. Maybe a player as described plus a 5th?

No GM worth their salt is going to trade their QB for a rookie based simply a 20 minute interview. ANd do you have a record of Poles phone calls today? I would think not.

Whether they officially shopped him, took calls etc. They know what Justin's trade value is and right now, its not very good

That is what Adam Schefter put out. I would imagine he came to that conclusion based on what his sources were hearing.

That is not what Poles ultimately received. I imagine that was based on cold hard reality.

We did have one poster in this forum who insisted that Atlanta's #8 overall pick was in play for Fields. I would imagine that was based on wishful thinking.

This forum was littered with posts discussing "The Haul" that many anticipated in return for JF. "The Haul" turned out to be a sixth-round pick (which could, by likely won't turn into a fourth-round pick based on performance). That's far less than many here had talked themselves into believing.

Thems the facts. I'm not ignoring any of it.
