With that said, I just tried to pick playoff likely teams I thought had the most beef with chicago.

It is probably a no-brainer that Vancouver would like to avenge two embarrassments at the hands of the hawks and get us in the playoffs at some point, although if we were to beat them again I think luongo would kill himself.

Don't you mean "who do you want the Hawks to down in the playoffs"?

A successful season for me is sending the nucks home for the 3rd year straight, everything after that is extra. Just beat them *******.

I more or less figured who would most like to be the ones to beat the hawks. Maybe secretly they would rather avoid facing them, but would like the satisfaction.

Like supraman though, I would laugh my ass off if the hawks sent vancouver golfing 3 years in a row. I love viewing the canuck board and witnessing the implosion after talking so much smack about how much of a better team the canucks are, then getting manhandled.

No team wants to face the Hawks in the playoffs. NONE of them.

Infact most teams are hoping the Hawks don't make the playoffs. Especially the Canucks.

Vancouver for sure. The usual saying goes that the road to the Cup finals in the West goes through Detroit, but in Vancouver's case it's most definitely the Hawks. They are so deep in their heads of the Nucks that they ought to be paying rent.

This year is for sure the Nucks most opportune window to get it done, as next year the Hawks ought to be in a way better shape capwise and stronger overall. I honestly don't care who wins the Stanley Cup as long as it's not the cunts in Vancouver. If the Hawks manage to eliminate them for a third straight year it will be so much sweeter and I am afraid Vancouver might implode should that happen.

I think it is a simple case of everyone wants to knock the hawks out, but nobody wants to play them.

I want to play/beat Detroit.

Repeating the cup would be the best - but toughest. If they don't get to do that, I would like them to beat the Wangs, since they knocked the Hawks out 2 years ago. I think thats a "stepping" stone for the Hawks, and would make for a successful playoff run (again, if they don't repeat)

I agree. It was pretty funny when Phoenix was here. I asked Aucoin if the Hawks made the playoffs if they would want them in a series. He said "No way"... "No one wants them." I would think everyone is hoping they'll miss the playoffs. I think we were in 11th at this point.

Really the Hawks match up well with EVERY team when they play 60 minutes. It will be very hard to defeat the Hawks in a 7 game series regaurdless of the team.

In their last 17 games the Hawks have lost TWO in regulation.

Canucks may be the hottest team in the NHL but they played us good ONE game where they had control and that was directly because of Luongo. The other three, including the one the NHL Officials GAVE to the Canucks, we were the better team.

I am just happy about what normally happens to teams that win the President's Trophy.

I think it is the fact that on paper they match well, but also, no other team can adjust like the Hawks can in a 7 game series.

That is hilarious that he would say that about an "11th place team".

It speaks pretty damn highly of the Hawks.

BINGO!

Also, as Stu said, we have the Toews factor. It's almost as good as the Jordan factor of the 90s...
