I have only been to a handful, but the arena down in Sunrise is one of my favorites. It is easy to get tickets, the views are great, and the arena is just plain nice. Too bad most of the bars across the street at the mall closed up shop. I guess outside of the hockey games, nobody really heads out in the middle of nowhere to Sawgrass Mills mall to do their late-night partying. Two years ago when I was down there we ended up at a pool hall across the street (although a nice one) to have some celebratory beers and such. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't the experience I had about 8 years ago.

Several of us on here who were at the game headed down to the beach after for drinks and midnight seafood. Ironically, the place we ended up at was named Capones! When do we get a chance after Hawks games to have beers and fressh seafood on the beach?

If there is a game in Sunrise next season, I am there!

Capone lived in West End Grand Bahama a mere 50 miles or so from Fort Lauderdale.

Interesting.

Thought he only hung out in Hayward, WI.

Died in his house in Miami Beach where he resided upon his release from prison. He had several houses around the area. His house on River Rd had a escape tunnel to the Des Plaines River. To this day the tunnel is still there in form of a creek that runs under River Road.

Remember Geraldo and the "famous" vault. LOL!!!
