I have thought about why your Game 6 experience was so much different than our Game 4. I know for a fact that was

not just Jako that had the experience. You can ask the camera crews and reporters from Channel 7 and Comcast and

they would verify the assholyiness of the fans in Philly as well.

I can venture two reasons why the difference. One, RK and those with him sat in the lower level and two, my guess

is that many of the Aholes that were at Game 4 had thrown in the towel on their team by the time Game 6 rolled around.

BTW, the best visiting fan experience that I have ever had was at the Panthers game the other week. If NHL schedules

allow it I will plan on attending games there every season. Awesome rink, employees, fans and the 80 degree weather was the added bonus.

Just sayin'

That was my 3rd time in the building. None were very bad. Ribbing, sure, their fans are complete assholes. Anything more than that, not much different than any other building IMO. Not one of the "nicer" buildings either fan wise no doubt, but definitely an excellent venue. Hell even the Hawks flew in their own security, and guess what, they were all in the lower bowl as well. The language thing doesn't bother me as much as apparently it does you, and really that's all it was. Big deal I've been called a dick before and will again many times. HEHE

My game 6 experience was different because in the end we WON THE CUP! The four of us ate at Denny's in the middle of PHilly, at 3am, all decked out in our Hawks gear, while watching the highlights of the win on an IPAD, with absolutely no problem what so ever.

You should hit the HSBC some time. It's a fun place to watch a game. Very good fans.

I would imagine Florida fans are not quite as passionate about hockey, and mostly transplants from other places in the Country. I would expect both to be pretty "tame" buildings as far as fans go.

How many games did you actually go to in the Stadium? All of the rinks in the NHL now are so much tamer in any comparrison. Even at 12 my experience in the Stadium were far crazier. Luckily I was always a Hawk fan!

It had nothing to do with language, that rolls off my back. It was the threats, verbally and physically. Its just not worth rehashing.

As far as the old stadium, many games there going back to about age 10 or so. I remember looking at the old geezers, now me LOL, and thinking they were nuts. Drunk, the smoke, the language, flying beers.... you know, you were there. That was back in the day and we have come a long, long way since then. Stadiums are of opinion. I really enjoyed Joe Louis. I walked in and felt hockey lore there. The closest I have ever felt to the Chicago Stadium.

I told the Sharks fan in front of me if he got up one more time to cheer on his team I was going to knock his teeth out the other night. Luckily we scored 5 goals not to long after that. I also saw three Hawk fans just berating two Sharks fans in the isle and another 3-4 doing it in the smoking area. It's no different anywhere else.

See I think the Joe is a shit hole. It reminded me of a shit hole. All three times I've been there. I get the old time feeling but I like the new buildings like the Wacovia.

If you were any fan other than a Hawk fan when attending the stadium the Wacovia would be like a play ground. I can remember seeing just huge brawls. Beer pouring from the balcony down. Threats, I think they took 50 plus to jail per game.

And you REHASHED IT!

And I had an incident in phily. The asshole flyer fan next to me hit me directly in the face with his rally towel after one of the goals they scored. I yanked it out of his hand and threw it about 8 rows up to the glass. Informed him if he decided to do anything like that again I intended to pound the fucking shit out of him. The two Flyers fans behind us said "yea no doubt that was uncool man"... And the guy shut the **** up all the way to when Kaner ended it and beyond. It happens.

You'd have had a better time if they won. Especially a game with such importance. Always sucks losing on the road no matter the building or opposing fans. St. Loius comes to mind. Although the last three times there we've won thank God. Most of their fans completely suck as well.

But if you are a Blues fans the UC and Blackhawks fans suck too. See what I did there.....

Hands down the Canucks want us the most to try and prove something. Prove they will not though because 1) We will destroy them again and 2) We beat em 2 in a row in the 2nd round making them look like fools.....nothing changes that.

I highly doubt there is a city out there right now that can't stop yapping and spewing nonsense about the Hawks as much as this one right now. In fact the Canucks additions to their roster this year were made in thoughts of running into the Hawks again in the playoffs. We exposed their holes 2 years in a row..best part is they didn't buy enough cement to fill the biggest hole...that of which is btw Luoooooooooos legs.

But yah these ehfers do NOT like us nor do the fan base here. I think it's probably safe to say that the Canuck fans are the ones who want to face us more so than the team itself. Sedins are already shitting their pants knowing they will get shut down 3 years in a row.

Is their fan base that eager to face the Hawks TCD? I would think getting their ass handed to them the last two years in a row would be enough to have them really worried. We've lost a lot of close games, where they've won some, but the season series was pretty much the Hawks minus the game Loungo stole here.

I wouldn't want to face the Hawks if I were a Nuk fan. Although if I were a nuk fan I'd have blown my head off many years ago.

Yah but RK remember...Nuck fans are fucking idiots.

They don't stop yapping about 94 which was 17 years ago. Some of them think they actually beat the Rangers. Honestly I have never seen an org hang onto something for so long. Even we didn't ***** and whine about our dry spell we just kept moving forward. And they hate us because of 94 also because Larmer and the ex-hawks handed it to them. We haunt them...and I love it.

Nuck fans can't let shit go and its annoying as hell. They like to keep coming back for more punishment.

The Canuck fans "wanted" Chicago last year. I remember it like yesterday. And what do you know, its yesterday again. Again the Canuck fans are hoping to exact their revenge on Chicago. The hosts of the radio shows are actually showing some reservation this year, cautioning that the west will be very difficult to emerge from.

First and foremost, yeah I want the cup. If I can't have the cup, I want to beat Vancouver again. I hope it is in the second round again. As others said, Vancouver just might implode.

Sorry I just don't see that they are that much better than last year. While the Hawks at times, and a lot more lately, can be just as good as last year when they all work together.

Like I said I don't think any team wants the defending Cup Champs this year in the West. They'd all rather the unpredictable Hawks would miss the playoffs. And that just isn't going to happen.

Any number of teams can beat the Hawks if they don't play as a team. If they play as a team, no team can beat them in 7. Home ice or not.

You'd think by the third year of possibly getting their ass kicked they'd be more cautious on biting off MORE than they can chew. They won't win the Cup this year either.

one thing about facing Vancouver worries me. I KNOW we would still beat them, but we are lacking so much grit that we had...it's bothersome. our D is probably on par or better than last year, but we don't have the grit up front. If Bickell can play for his size, stand in front of the net, throw a big hit, play like Buff did, good. I was hoping we would pick up Chris Neil at the deadline for some grit, since I don't feel we have the sandpaper for a long run in the west.

I hope I'm wrong though

Some will have to elevate their game to another level for the playoffs.

Some of our 3rd and 4th liners will have to bring more scoring and hitting. I like Bickell a lot and think he can bring a lot more than he has shown so far. If the team plays like they did during this last hot streak and the 3rd and 4th line increase their productivity the team will be hard to beat.

The question is who will be our Byfuglien this post season?

It will have to be replaced by committee

I've thought about that alot, obviously nobody even close to 1/2 of that type of hitting, scoring, and net presence.

Buffs affect on the crying Loungo and just how much the other Vancouver players were so distracted with Buff is irreplaceable along with what went on between him and Pronger. That type of play is absolute classic, and was so fun to watch.

Vancouver for sure. It's so awesome to see teams down right hate each other (especially in the playoffs) and play 110% tougher. Also, elminating them for the third straight year? Yes please.

I have only been to a handful, but the arena down in Sunrise is one of my favorites. It is easy to get tickets, the views are great, and the arena is just plain nice. Too bad most of the bars across the street at the mall closed up shop. I guess outside of the hockey games, nobody really heads out in the middle of nowhere to Sawgrass Mills mall to do their late-night partying. Two years ago when I was down there we ended up at a pool hall across the street (although a nice one) to have some celebratory beers and such. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't the experience I had about 8 years ago.
