^^^^^^^^^^

When I first got Amazon Prime, I noticed they had both The Sopranos & The Wire. I chose to binge The Sopranos . Should I drop everything and move on to The Wire now????

If only for the fact that a COCKNEY Idris Elba fooled casting and creators that he was legit hood from the USA.

Also, do it for OMAR.

Gosh.

The most common complaint of The Wire is that its "boring" "hard to get into" but frankly i did not that problem. On the first viewing i was lukewarm on Season 2 but on re-watch i really appreciated it. Season 4 is spectacular.

TBF though I haven't watched The Wire and if its on Amazon I will put it in the que because I have heard its really pretty great as well. But most likely not nearly as great as the story of Albuquerque told by Brian Cranston.

I have watched most of "The Wire" its pretty good but I dont find it Breaking Bad good. Though, I would say parts of Breaking Bad werent very good themselves just like any show. Had its peak and valleys.

Something I picked up from long past writing classes was called the "8 point story arc". Those eight points are stasis, trigger, quest, surprise, critical choice, climax, reversal and resolution.

IMO Breaking Bad excuted the 8 points better than any other television show I have seen. So from that Composition Class nerd perspective, it's one of the greatest ever.
