You see the new one in the latest transformer movie? Wow what a car!
Vette lost me after they changed the 67. Those mid year vettes still are the one of the most beautiful designs ever. I never liked em after they came out with the 68 version. But I hear they are fast.

I currently own a 1980 with a rebuilt 350. It has that "stingray" body still. But the truth is when it was stock its listed at one of the worst vettes chevy ever manufactured. It had that BS California 307 in it. But people see it and think the thing can do backflips. It sounds great, but it reminds me of Rory Sparrow. All talk and no bite.

So I somewhat agree onthose crap vette years. the c6 needed some body mods for me to finally like that one too. so i'm anxious to see this CZ8 thing that coming out

Now there should be some downgrades from this beast but if transformers 1 showed the new camaro exactly how it ended up being maufactured, I am excited. I'll bet the starting point begins at 75,000. Especially since Dodge brought back the Viper

I see this all the time but tell me why after I made the transformers corvette comment the next ads I see is for transformers3 dvd, corvette retailers, and corvette auction sites. Gotta love the internets.

I'm not a fan of anything from the mid 70's to the mid 90's. There were so many regulations in place but not nearly enough technology to make the cars interesting.

I only really started paying attention to the vette again once the C5 Z06 came out. And, other than the Cobra R, the Mustang wasn't a real sports car until Ford brought the 5.0 back a couple years ago.

I think all the other new muscle cars are crap. The camaro, charger & challenger aren't appealing to me at all. They're heavy, handle terribly and the brakes are garbage. But, people buy em cuz they look cool so they're here to stay

Its funny that you should say that, cause when those new muscle cars came out I thought they would never be as fast as those made in the 60s. However some of the car mags actually tested some of the new muscle cars vs the older ones, and although the older ones sounded cooler, the new ones actually out performed the old ones..I was shocked!!

The old ones are great, and can never be replaced. I'd love to have a old mach 1 and a challenger. Let's be honest though. Those old cars aren't going to handle better than a new model. With CRS ability, more lightweight bodies, it just won't happen. But again, I'd much rather have a classic than a new model. There's something about that gasoline smell mixed with old the meguiars and turtle wax! Not to mention the stainless trim.

Yeah..I gotcha..Plus the new ones go down in value and the old ones go up.

That's not surprising to me at all. Technology has allowed manufacturers to make cars lighter, safer, faster and get waaaaay better fuel economy. While I appreciate any car that sounds cool and is fast, my favorite car right now is the Mercedes Benz S400 hybrid. Any car that is that safe, has that much technology and gets 35mpg while weighing 4500 lbs is awesome, IMO

About to buy a house. Walked through it today, agreed on a price. Just gotta get paperwork done and hope the current owners don't take their time to gtfo.
