I think it might be a good idea to have a "report feature abuse" rule. I'm sure it would save mods annoyance at having Special person posters that report the crap out of people for stuff that really isn't against the forum rules, get a temp ban or maybe have all the mods dislike them or something. I know that when Rush finally makes me a mod that I'd toss somebody a 24 hour cooling off period if they were reporting someone for a :-v or something.

5.) Mis-using the Reported Posts Feature
This is a feature that sends an email to all of the staff and it creates a thread in the Reported Posts section of the Staff Forum. If you mis-use this feature, not only will your ability to report posts be removed but, you could be banned as well. It is very annoying when this is taken advantage of. I think we've all got out the "cheap reported post" thing for a laugh. Enough please.

JUST AN IDEA! I used to mod over at a similar vbulletin board called sickness.net/vb
The whole thank you system and reputation aspect should at least be considered to change.
I propose the "thank you" button to be replaced with "props"
The reputation is replaced with props received and props given, somehow it balances out to create the mystical bar or blue and yellow we look at as reputation points.
I've dealt with vbulletin so I know it's possible, just not sure how all of you feel about it and what your modifications would consist of.

It's an easy change. IDK, we've had thanks for almost 5 years, it would cause some confusion. Plus, it's another thing to add to the list of things to change by hand after every update(an already very long list).
