We did have that, then users started stalking others, as well as the site growing considerably in traffic(so we started cutting certain features). After a few server upgrades we turned most features back on after experimenting with which ones did use more resources and so fourth. The currently viewing feature is actually a little resource hog of its own. I'm sure it will get tested again. I like that feature too. So we'll put it in the, 'maybe' category.

Very used to this from the Blackhawks forum a lot of users will be merging into CCS from. It helped fuel my insomnia to see another person was viewing and waiting for a reply.
But hey... the more activity and traffic the better!

Gamedays, big news, general traffic spikes. I'm going to keep a watch, as I have a set performance target in mind to keep during peak times. It's more than just expected loads, but unexpected events that may happen as well.
