This would pretty much render the almost useless All-Sports forum completely useless then, no?

I always thought the OT threads should be in All-Sports anyways. If the thread isn't about a Chicago team I don't think it should be in the Chicago forums. So you have those threads. The Bulls forum is infamous for this. Currently I count 8 threads on the main page (to be fair, 2 of them are mine) that don't need to be there. Clutters shit up. I imagine there is somebody who is a Bears fan, but is not a Bulls fan, but maybe don't post anything about the NBA because they don't want to go into the Bulls forum and clog it up. Possible, maybe not likely?

The only other thing I would say is that the sub forums are meh. I just think the All Sports can do a good job of 'everything else' in the NFL/NBA/MLB/NHL*/MLS that isn't Chicago which we already have forums for.



* idk - maybe with the current NHL issues this idea should be exempt for that forum. What do I know? I don't post in there.

couple of things:

1) why in the last 6 months has this site been so unstable? It seems like the site is always getting tweaked or whatever.

2) please take guest lurkers off of the "private" setting. If we want new members they should be able to look at threads before they sign up....they see certain topics that they want to chime in on they may sign up....god knows we need it in the baseball forum

im not trying to be mean but it seems like once a week we are doing something to have the site unstable when the first few years the site was smooth as ****. again just speaking for others as well and not trying to be a dick.
