Love that song. Loving the new album. Although it is again heavily produced like Brother was it stands out as an individual album that's strong. Little different sound coming from them off the new album... but I like it.
Really tired of critics etc comparing the Black Keys to The White Strips. The 2 are completely different groups with a complete different sound and schtick even though they are 2 piece bands (And the keys are using a 4 group on this album anyways). But if they want to compare the two as if it is some sort of Special person contest...
1) Dan is a better vocalist than Jack. Jacks voice is far too kitschy and schticky and far too animated.
2) Patrick is a better drummer than Megan.
3) The Black keys can release an album every year that is strong and new and fresh. The White Stripes are tired and old and don't produce shit anymore anyways and all there albums draw on the same schemes and techniques.
Anyways it's not important as the 2 groups are completely different it just drives me nuts that the 2 are always compared because they are 2 pieced at the roots. Neither are the first to have a 2 piece band anyways.

I think the comparison also comes because both are heavily blues based bands. I would say The Black Keys were almost entirely blues until this last album. El Camino is more just kick ass rock music.
