Saw them in Lawrence, KS on their DUTY NOW FOR THE FUTURE tour back in 1980.  Great Show.  A combination of great music, theatrics and comedy.</p>

At that time I was a pimply faced head banger.   Didn't appreciate them yet.   I'm jealous now though.   </p>

Therapy? - Prison Breaker</p>

Reminds me of a girl that liked to punch me during sex. She was awesome!</p>

 </p>

Working on converting my collection to FLAC and putting on drive for my car.</p>

200 albums so far, not all in FLAC but it has pushed me back into old school Therapy?  stuff.</p>

The fucking rhythm section is just badass.</p>

 </p>

Now playing, Therapy? - Opal Mantra, from "Hats Off to the Insane"</p>

I have the only copy I or anyone I know has ever seen.</p>

Steven Wilson - The Pin Drop</p>

From "The Raven That Refused To Sing (and other stories)"</p>

Album of 2013, maybe even album of the decade or best since Dream Theater - Scenes From a Memory.</p>

This band is such a strange mix but somehow it works and I find it strangely entertaining. They apparently killed it at Sonisphere and Heavy Montreal.</p>

And this was pretty much my reaction when I first saw the videos.</p>

OK. huge Dream Theater fan here. (see my name for ref)
I paid ~$60 for the new live bluray + 3 cd set of live show from Boston with Berklee orchestra & choir (on last song = encores)

UGH!

The mix is SHIT! No bass! I have better sounding bootlegs.
So dissapointed.
Now I listen to Steven Wilson _ The Raven That Refused To Sing in his 5.1 mix.
(I tihnk stero mix is better now on 20th listen, but **** that DT shit)
ZThey need to hire Wilson to mix thoer live stuff.
So sad, thier best musical work in my 2 decades of being a fan, and such a shitty mix.

Someone at work has mix cd of decent rock/hard rock from 80s. Not bad stuff at all, but they play it over and over.
But that STILL isn't even the real issue.
The problem is with two of the songs. They are the singles from Queensryche - Operation:Mindcrime.
Those songs are meaningless without the rest.
Fuckin' A, I got that album in pawn shop when was 12. Some powerful shit there to a freethinking young lad.

edit:

also was my 1st step into love of concept albums
