I got one of those turn table to CD stereo systems. Yeah its not high fidelity, but I've been listening to some classic vinyl last few days.</p>

I would almost recommend getting one of the USB ones and ripping the whole album. You still get a pretty good phonograph sound with the pops and whatnot (if the MP3 rip has a high enough sampling rate), but you don't wear it out. </p>

My wife got some irreplacable Slovak fairy tales from her childhood on Vinyl. Better to rip them and store the vinyl in an armageddon-proof area then wear out the record. That way when she gets nostalgic about her childhood (like I am now listening to Weird Al's "Nature Trail to Hell"), it would wear away or destroy the vinyl.</p>
