21st Century Schizoid Man (Including Mirrors) - King Crimson

That song is such legend. I spent a couple weeks with it a while ago. Still holds up to this day. I enjoy Maynard cover of it also with whatever band of his he played it with. Tool, A Perfect Circle or Puscifer. Hell it could have been some random studio recording with some grapes and a cowboy hat.

I can't get enough of Beehoover right now. They are giving me a metal boner. Nothing is better than running across a band you have never heard of before and connecting to the sound until it becomes an addiction. I can't go a day right now without listening to them

I saw Greg Lake a couple months back and it was fucking awesome. Very intimate performance, just him and some backing tracks... did more than just King Crimson tunes as well.

I'll have to check out your new band when I have more of a chance (read: not at work).

Right now:

This is my fav metal band right now.

Would love to hear comments from fellow metal fans ala Jako?

I feel there are a lot of influences going on with Beehoover who have blended them all together into something sublime.
Definitely hear some Clutch, especially the lead singers voice and style. Instrumentally I hear a lot of 90s grunge/metal/hard rock sounds. I like what I've heard so far. Interesting that it's a two piece band that put together everything.

I have a system of the down/ Serj channel on Pandora that I like to listen to at work. 60% is them with some lincoln park, chevelle, apocolyptica, muse, and other randoms mixed in. ANd I have to say.... it's awesome. Such beautiful music and keeps me pumped in the afternoon .

Headcage - Matthew Dear

Off of his new album Beams. Matthew Dear is by far my favorite electronic/pop artist out there today.
