What's the point of Denard Robinson's tryout w/Bears@rookie minicamp?

You have a ready list at every position of guys you can bring in quickly to fill a hole.

They will rotate veterans through to see who can play, who is in shape, who can learn a little of the playbook.

5'10, 217 is the ideal all-purpose back size, many hall of famers are 5'10" including our own walter payton. I did think he was smaller, so thank you. That means Langford is gone, and Robinson would be competition with Cohen.

Cobb vs Langford maybe if we keep 4 and want a short yardage specialist.

but what about his fat marbling?

Yeah...what should happen, and what Pace has shown will happen are he will stick with his guys, his picks.

So expect Carey will go, and Langford will stick with Cunningham and Cohen and Howard.

WTF? Sure,there's nothing wrong with leaving no stone unturned,but with the additions of Cunningham and Cohen,where's the room for Robinson? I could kinda see this if he had credible NFL qb skills and the Bears were gonna use him like CAR's Joe Webb:QB/WR/ST,but otherwise,what's the point. This may be a moot post because he may not even sign.
