Well, we're all getting older and with that comes...issues. We're all going to die one day and it'll probably be from something nasty. So, why not share? Maybe there is some advice or help that you wished you could have had that can passed on to someone else in a similar situation.

Possibly Special person (@DanielCCSBears )? Have a stupid, idiot brane? Maybe cancer or gout? Post about it here so all can be judged and critiqued.

I am...suffering from...Tinnitus. I 100% believe I had a low res version of it due to wearing a walkie talkie earpiece for 15+ years, but has greatly intensified due to numerous tooth/mouth issues this past year. My mouth is FUBAR. Visited three new practices yesterday to get a fresh start. I don't care what this shit costs me. I'm hoping if my face can get fixed, my ears will stop ringing so intensely. We'll see.

Anyone else deal with this? Apparently, it's very common but the intensity varies quite a bit.

So, what are you fucks dealing with?

I've got a fun one called Dupuytren's Contracture. Basically knots in the palms of my hands that is causing my fingers to curl inwards. Makes gripping stuff hard. I need to get surgery, but I've been putting it off.

Skin cancer. Two leg surgeries that failed. (Not related to cancer). Heart shit. I think I am getting arthritis. It’s been a fun year.
That's right. I remember you mentioning something about cancer earlier this year. Godspeed my dude. You're an asset to this board. My Mom went through lung/brain cancer and unfortunately lost the battle. What she learned about herself and our family through the battle was inspiring. Remember, God, if you believe, doesn't give you anything you can't handle. You've got this.

Never heard of that one, had to google it. One thing I've learned in my 42 years that clearly doesn't apply to everyone or every situation is...don't put it off! It'll just get worse! Speaking from personal experience of course lol.

Yeah, mine was nothing like your moms. I’ll be fine.
So sorry you had to deal with that. Gotta funeral tomorrow for a church friend that died of prostate cancer.

FUCK CANCER!

And hope that tinnitus gets fixed. That sounds annoying as fuck.

Ty. She never got to meet her grandkids and that pisses me off but we release a couple birthday balloons every year so that's cool.

I noticed the tinnitus this summer on our first camping trip. Was super excited for some late night peace and quiet and it was just the opposite. Always slept with fans and humidifiers but even that's not enough anymore.

It could be so much worse so I'm going to figure this shit out. No real cure, but I'll fix the teeth and my health first and go from there. One day at a time.

So, since it's in my future, wtf is arthritis like?

I have had severe tinnitus and hearing loss 62% for the last 30 years. I used to have the tv on to be able to go to sleep because the sounds pound my brain non stop.

Mine came from wearing unmodulated headphones in the Navy. And to many concerts at Winterland.

Since I started researching it, my phone has been hit with a bunch of ads for "cures." It's all BS isn't it? My DR at Kasier said so. Ty for your service in the Navy.

On the fixing of your teeth part, I highly suggest you pick up and read this:

Price Nutrition& Physical Degeneration : Weston A. Price : Free Download, Borrow, and Streaming : Internet Archive

Weston A. Price was a dentist that traveled the world and studying diets trying to figure out why some tribes who never brushed their teeth had straight teeth and no cavities but westerns who brushed their teeth did. Its pretty good read.

Fuck yeah, my Nor-Cal (slightly) older-Bro! Got to respect Winterland.

My hearing is blown out from 1,000 concerts + gun range sessions.

As someone who has played in a metal band for over half my life and has been to numerous concerts without using ear protection I am surprised I don't have tinnitus. I'm lucky.

Teeth, though. You know.

Dealing with major blue balls right now. I thought I'd be having sex tonight. Boy, was I wrong.

You've got some great speech to text software my dude.

Ever try using your feet? Sorry if I'm being presumptuous.

Uh... Couch cushions? I dunno. I'm drawing a blank here...
