I'm going to vietnam next summer. I hear its like the new thailand. like thailand before all the bros and sex tourists showed up.

You will really enjoy it. Visit the South. Much more fun. Do Ho Chi Min City and Danang. When in Danang make sure to go to Hoyan. Full of European hikers and fun shops. I would also recommend touring the Cho Chi tunnels if you get the chance. The American War Crimes museum is also interesting. The propaganda alone is worth a stop. Hanoi is ok but like Dallas and Austin. Old Saigon is the best.
Thailand is different. You walk down the street and get a low opinion of the human race. IMO
