1960-61 Hawks.
In 7 years this will be removed from the Cup and the ring will reside in the NHL.
There are two Cups, not three. The "third" is a compile of pieces, including the original Cup from the late 1800's, the original rings which were much narrower (changed in 1940 something). Then the Replica, and the one the players get, which is the "authentic cup".
Inside the bowl there are also two teams. In the center and around the sides. I don't remember which they were though.
The Cup guys are awesome. Very tiring but what a job.

What a blast at the Buffett concert last night...Kaner comes out with the cup in the middle of Boat Drinks (20 degrees and a hockey game's on...). The Indian Head's on the screen behind the band and the place goes nuts.
Thanks to the Noons, Demons, puckjim & gettinsome for hanging out. That was one fun day and night.

I don't know stu. I just started feeling better Sunday. Was horrible. Might have been the 90 degree temps then sitting in the 55 degree ice rink in Buffalo, but I'd like to blame it on drinking out of the Cup!
Dr. T had it the other day and I think maybe the Hawks org people are splitting it these few days. Not sure, I haven't inquired since my life was completed last weekend!

No flu here Ron, but knowing Burish, I'm sure they disinfected it pretty well before he passed it around. Mike said there are a few front office guys still to get it, as well and Troy Parchman, John Madden and Nick Boynton.

You know, drinking from it all I could think about was Sharp talking about his dog eating dog food out of it, and hoisting it over my head.
Then two days after I get back I see a picture of Buff letting his dog lap beer out of it. I cringe at the things that have been in that bowl!

I'll never forget when the baby of a Scum player "relieved" itself in the bowl. That's worse than any dog eating/drinking out of that bowl. Thank goodness its sanitized every night.
