Rhetorically asking.......when are people on this board going to understand that the second most important position on Offense is the Center? Not open for discussion btw.....when that epiphany happens to you, you can thank me later. ....lol... Another btw...btw....the position most ***** & complaint about but at the same time don't find the position important enough. "It all starts with the Center."

I was looking at Raven's roster and draft position allocation and was amazed to see a 1st round center. But Bear fan wisdom says you can't put that kind of investment into IOL.

Note I wasn't impressed with the amount of 1sts they had at DB. I'm not saying OMG we need to do like Ravens at all, just amazed that a defensive team would have a 1st at Center while some Bears fans would have people believe you need at least 11 1st rounders on defense.

Agreed......I'm from the Jimmy Johnson 'tree'....lol....as far as drafting. You draft the BPA that will most take you closer to winning the SB. Eff the stats, vitals & measurables. Who's going to make your team better? Period!!! You must factor in ....Passion for the game...hate losing....love winning...comradery....being tenacious....wanting to get better....having a Lion's heart...effort throughout the WHOLE game....no quit within...kinda like...... Olin Kruetz. I'd take a player rated a 6 with these features over a player with a 7.5 rating who's a Primadonna, any effn day of the week.

Its loaded with average to below average nfl starters.

I dont think you have been watching too many other teams if you think wright, braxton arent average

Problem is you want more than average from the 2nd most important position on the offense(Left Tackle) and a top 10 pick in darnell wright.

A lot of the sacks are on caleb this year too, he's helping get himself killed. Waldron certainly didnt help him with the scheme he laid out

I feel that both of our OTs are average at best to below average. Wright has really been disappointing to me as a top 10 pick. I do concur that CW has held the ball too long at times but the OL has been bad as a whole and all year long at that. They were lucky to hold Det to 5 sacks. Imagine if Det still had Hutch with that atrocious OL.

I still want the whole damn thing blown up. I know Poles won't upgrade Wright at this point but he must really elevate his play next year.

I have my round value board for positions. Then need.
Because any LB was Angelo's BPA like any DB is Poles' BPA I generally don't even believe in BPA.

Protecting the QB has to be a high value.
If there were no needs I could see BPA as long as it's actually the best player and not someone's obsession with a position.
