I still think by looking at cleveland deeply, this is still going to be a det/chi race.

Their pitching is going to be a problem sooner or later. They don't have a very great or reliable rotation. I believe they'll fizzle out in the next month or two similar to what they did last year. They don't have a team that can sustain their current play IMO.

I still think by looking at cleveland deeply, this is still going to be a det/chi race.

Which is why it's a good thing that the Indians beat the Tigers. But for now, the Sox need to keep winning.

Travis Hafner received a cortisone shot in his right knee on Thursday.

Hafner hasn't played since fouling a fall off his right knee during Wednesday's game. It was originally deemed as a day-to-day-type situation, but that's clearly not the case. In fact, Indians trainer Lonnie Soloff said if Hafner's knee doesn't respond by next week, other scenarios will be examined. It's fair to say that includes the possibility of surgery. Stay tuned.
