Its just as bad as the people in the ballpark that all gasp when a ball even goes to the outfield on the fly.
aj my man! hitting with power this year! love it! dont stop now boys
Don't use last year as a barometer for this year. The Tribe in the last half of the season had a lot of injuries.Their pitching is going to be a problem sooner or later. They don't have a very great or reliable rotation. I believe they'll fizzle out in the next month or two similar to what they did last year. They don't have a team that can sustain their current play IMO.

The starting pitching could go either way. Lowe has been one of the best pitchers in the AL but I'm somewhat doubtful he can sustain it.
Gomez has been good, he is young and has some upside. On the other hand, the league is just getting to know him so. . .
Jimenez is problematic. The coaching staff continues to work on him and his mechanics. He's 5-3 and 3 of his last 4 starts were "quality" starts. But one has to wonder whether his current success is sustainable absent improvement in hos mechanics because he is walking a boatload runners in every game and gives up a lot of hits when in a pitcher's count.
Masterson was one of the better AL starters last year -- his W-L and Era are misleading for a variety of reasons.
Tomlin is coming of the DL on Monday. Since Tomlin is not overpowering he has to pitch "smart." In the past he threw to many strikes. During Spring Training he worked on being just off the plate in order to expand the zone. Just before going on the DL he had a 7 strikeout ratio per 9 innings indicating he was successful in learning to throw fewer strikes.
McAllister is a promising pitcher demoted today to make room for Tomlin.
And then then there is Roberto Hernedez with one of the best sinkers in the game and virtually unhittable when he is on his game. Unfortunately, he is a head case and no one knows when he'll be allowed back into the States. No one knows whether the Tribe will be getting a new pitcher or Fausto Carmona under another name.
Bullpen -- one of the best in the AL and Pestano/Perez might currently be the best eighth/ninth inning tandem in baseball.
Offense -- This is where the Tribe has a problem. Too many lefthanded hitters in the lineup, not enough power (and I mean power into the gaps) and too many base cluggers. There is not a lot in the minor to help and it is questionable how much Sizemore will help.
I still expect the Tigers to win it. And at risk of being accused of being a "troll I believe the Tribe wins the division if 85 or less wins are enough with the Sox finishing a few games below .500.
