Nice, wear those teams out for us. It's not like our bats have been doing that lately.

Because he delivered the ball to the plate

I guess  I did note that there are no other guys on base, but I thought umpires were supposed to look for a set position and a normal pitching motion or else they'd call a "ball"...

Only a matter of time before you started again.

I have not said one thing about the standings, but yeah I am going to mention that Doug Fister set a record today on top of a pretty solid season.

I could've sworn I posted about it earlier too but that might have been elsewhere  I guess it's pretty easy to strike out 9 Royals in a row, but it's still impressive.

He was waiting for the Sox to collapse to start up with his beloved Kitties, who will be in the playoffs again & still won't win anything.

Actually according to the article:
Coming into today, the Royals as a team had the lowest strikeout rate in baseball. The lineup, of course, was a little different from usual

I enjoy being right if that is what you mean.

I do enjoy watching the cubs fans getting back into baseball cheering on the opposition of the whitesox. I guess thats the next best thing when your team loses a million games, just cheer against the team that is playing meaningful baseball in sept....something that wont be going on for a while on other teams.

If you guys weren't so antagonistic maybe the Cubs fans wouldn't be either (yeah, I know, but someone has to be the bigger person right?). I have been posting more to try to drive traffic to a forum where people SHOULD care. You are two games out of a playoff spot in a division that is still technically winnable, yet nobody posts updates or cares about the games except for the Cubs fan. It's really strange.

we are annoyed with our team. we are a different breed. Its impossible to win the division and we all have simply given up. it doesnt matter what the tigers do when the sox cant score runs anymore and cant win.....oh and I think a lot of people just gave up during the 12 walk game the other day. that was the tipping point.

Typical response even whenhave yet to say a thing about the standings, but I've said sincethe beginningof theyear that Foster was a good arm. His year has been stellar and he set a record. That is going after Joe and fanzine and stuff. No winning with you dews when in this forum.
