Not for the money they'll want to give up. Vmart for 4 years is a huge contract. I do agree that they need to get a left handed hitting outfielder or DH. They may just have won right under their radar.

Almost half of his hits were for extra bases and he hit almost .300. He had a break-out season last year. He does have a nice slight upper-cut swing. Its pretty compact also.

Yet he couldn't hit when called up. At all. I know small sample size, but still. Not impressed.

Thats okay. He seemed to start to get his stroke at the end of the season. He also is versatile. He came up as a 3Ber, can spell Abreau at 1st or DH. He should get a good shot in spring training.
