Andy Wilkens is tearing the cover off of the ball at Charlotte. Did anyone take a lot at his production last week? The kid was drafted as a 3rd baseman but is playing 1B and DHing now. Wonder if he could play left field. He isn't huge....6'1" and about 210# so he might be enough of an athlete to play the outfield. He's got to get a chance sometime pretty soon. Sure call-up in September is my guess.

Please bring up Micah Johnson as i've seen more than enough of Beckham blowing ass at the plate.

I would offer Rusney Castillo the same deal as Abreu and see if he takes it.

I agree. But most reports I have read is that teams most likely will offer around 35 or 40. He is not as good of a prospect as Abreu was or Puig or Cespedes. Don't think you need to offer so much. Maybe 50.

Yeah I just read that bidding "may reach" 40m...I say the White Sox go above that if they have too.

yeah but where would you put him? DH him or DH Abreu to keep his back healthier? Probably need to get rid of Dunn before he comes up.

You DH him and rest Abreau one of three games. Garcia yesterday had a couple of hits at Charlotte also:)

I am sure they do not want to waste a call-up for Johnson, Wilkens, Simeon, and Phlegly. Also Rodon. My bet is that they will bring Lindstrom and Garcia up in a couple of weeks.

Another strikeout by Dunn. Three pitches, three strikes. They are now really beginning to work around Abreau big time. He needs some protection not named Dunn.

I agree. Maybe he is taking his time adjusting but he might be of a better trade bait next year if he has a good year in triple A

I really think they will get an mlb proven player to DH next year.

I like his swing although he has struck out a lot since his call-up. He has a good chance to be good major league power hitter.

I agree. But can you trust a 36 year old Vmart? Wilkins did alright today. I say maybe give him a chance in spring training and then if he sucks but does good in triple A. Trade him for some pitching. I rather have viciedo at DH than Wilkins though.
